You know you weigh yourself too often when...

Quote  |  Reply
This thought just occured to me and it might be kind of fun to share and have a little laugh at ourselves.   We've all been thru the love/hate relationship with our scales.  So you fill in the blank:

You know you weigh yourself too often when _________

Here's mine:  You know you weigh yourself too often when you look for the scale in the bathroom at work.

You know you weigh yourself too often when you wake up with a midnight craving to weigh!
You know you weigh yourself too often when you know the average weight of your bowel movements.
That's a good one finewine!

You know you weigh yourself too often when you buy a new scale, but keep the old and weigh yourself on both.Everyday!!!
You know you weigh yourself too often when you know how to reset the scale's brain so you can lose a half a pound.
You know you weigh yourself too often when you know your wakeup weight, pee after wakeup weight, post shower after wakeup weight (wet & dry), then pre-breakfast and post-breakfast weights :-P
Drat!  Double post!  Uhhh...banana hammock.

You know you weigh yourself too often when you... try again immediately after weighing yourself just to see if the same weight will come up again.
You know you weigh yourself too often when you have used your scale to weigh yourself and your cat, just to see if it's accurately measuring the difference.
I've done that....
You know you weigh yourself too often when you weigh yourself on your grandmother's scale in another state. XP
Oh my, these are SO funny!
You know you weigh yourself too often when you have taken your scale to other parts of your house buck naked just to see if it'll be the same.
FW, so have I.  My kitty is squirmy though, and it made the scale a bit miffed.
Yeah, my cat sees he's getting carried to the bathroom and starts flipping out...but he takes it.  I only did it on my old scale, cause it was varying so greatly between weighs.  Haven't done it since I got my new one :-P

And mr. kitty needs to be weighed too, he's also on a diet :-P
She doesn't mind the bathroom, my kitty.  Heck, both of them sit on the bathmat while I'm bathing.  Weird kitties.

Chibi-chan could stand to lose a bit of weight, but Squall is still growing.  My poor pear-kitty.
Mine hangs out on the sink (and loves to watch me crap..weirdo), but if I CARRY him there, he spazzes.  He thinks it's a bath and he hates it.  I've got the scars to prove it....haha.
Bubba wants me to turn on the sink faucet to a trickle so he can get a drink by dipping his paw under it and licking it off.  He also will curl up in the sink if it's dry.  He also likes to hang out in the shower stall and meow - yes, he sings in the shower, but only if the water is not running.  You can see by his picture that he has a "robust" physique.

You know you weigh yourself too often when you re-weigh before and after dressing.
claire, have you seen catsinsinks.com?  maybe you could send them a picture of bubba!
You know you weigh yourself too much when..you weigh your dumb bells just to make sure the scale is calibrated correctly! (and it was .5 pound off, but it was in my favor!)
LOL leslie!!! XD

my cat runs into the bathroom when you flush the toilet, because she likes to watch the water swirl down...
