Going to KY in November again - NEED RECOMMENDATIONS! :)

OH and I are heading to KY and staying with friends for a few days in November, to celebrate our 10th anniversary.  I've managed to convince him to stay in a cabin/cottage/b&b for at least ONE night before we leave (preferably a cabin/cottage).

Anyone have any recommendations?  Would prefer somewhere with hot tub access from the cabin/cottage.  Can be rural, would love somewhere with horseback riding on site, or nearby.  We'll be flying into Louisville, and renting a car.

Also, anyone recommend any great horseback riding places (NOT follow-the-leader trail rides, but real trail riding?) around Louisville?  Would love to get a day of good fall riding in if I can.

Pfft.  Head down to the REAL Kentucky by taking a trip down the Mountain Parkway to Jenny Wiley (south of Prestonsburg).

*laughs* Not being familliar with the Prestonburg area - any recommendations?  Our friends are in the Elizabethtown/Lebanon Jct. area.

Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge... good places to check out. However, they're a solid 2 hours at least from Louisville. I don't know about any horseback riding stuff though.

Prestonsburg is scary. The Lexington area was "Kentucky" enough for me...
