"Labor Day"

“We must do the works of Him Who sent Me while it is day.  Night is coming when no one can work.  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”  John 9:4-5

I would like to wish everyone and happy and safe Labor Day, and pray God's blessing as you spend time with family and friends.

As we celebrate with Family and friends we should be mindful of what Jesus said when regarding work while it is day.  Even though we are spending time with family and friends, our job is never over. 

We can allow the light of Christ to shine in us by exemplifing the attributes of Christ through the fruits of the Spirit.  Through Love, joy peace, patience, kindness,goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. 

When we show these attributes of Christ, God will allow doors to open that we may be a witness as to why we seem to be happy all the time.  I have people at work tell me all the time, it seems like nothing ever bothers you, you don't seem to get stressed out in stressful situations and your demeanor is always the same regardless of what is going on.  This always what I see as a door God opens to allow me to be a witness as to why I can remain calm when there seems to be chaos all around. 

You are the Light of the World. A city on a hill Cannot Be Hidden. Matthew 5:14
