Finale Weigh-In: Monday, Sept 1st, Labor Day: A day of rest from work, you can pat yourself on the back for the good you've done for your own body this summer~!
Set a reasonable goal that you think you can achieve with making better eating choices, exercising beyond your regular daily activities, drinking more water, counting calories.. however you want, as long as it's a good, healthy way to lose weight. Get started today!

Same thing happens to me...well the jump. Lately it hasn't been coming off as easily. My weight always seems to be up on Mondays because I work Sunday nights. Still I had hoped for more progress.
megclifton: give it a few days as chrisalrae said. Let your body process the food before getting to excited. It will come off, think positive. Some of it has to be water weight as well.
Roller coaster week for me. Have been playing with meds to reduce frequent night time urination and that has caused water weight fluctuations. Up 2 lbs one day , down 2 the next. I'm not sure what my "real" weight is anymore, but on a week to week am up a bit.
Will be out of town next week and not near my "official" scale. Will check in and status folks tho. Keep at it the lifestyle changes! We only go this way once lets do it healthy and fit!

Yeah!! I was able to loose 2 pounds in a week again, and I didn't exercise more or eat less really but I did keep my "word" to you guys and had absolutely no yummy ritas or beer this week.
Meg - Don't worry if you "gained" 4lbs , I am just glad to hear you're alive. It's prob just water weight from all the salty/prepacked food you had to eat since you where stranded with out all the commodities you would have liked.

Wow, everyone seems to be getting closer to their goals. Yay!
I'm excited because I came back from camp worried about what my weight would be. I didn't count any calories while away, had some smores with my kids, and also had a couple drinks on a few of the nights. It sure felt like I was slacking. But I must have been working off all those calories too because when got home, I has lost even more weight. <Giddy with happiness.>
Forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I'll have to wait till I get home from work (or maybe even tomorrow).
The two pounds I had gained came off like the next day but, Ive spent all week watching the scale roll back and forth between 185 and 186. Today, I landed on 186. LOL So I have 5 weeks to lose 6 lbs. Guess Im going to have to have a 2 lb week here pretty soon.

I was out of town yesterday, but when I weighed-in this morning...WOW, it made my day to see I lost 3 lbs in a week. If this trend is going to continue until the final week, I'll reach my goal (cross finger).
Ok at this point I'm prayn for a miracle I hope to just break the 190's now. I so know I could do better I just make excuses and I hate myself afterwards. I've been partyn a lot lately so this whole week I'm doing no alcohol, walking every (YES EVERY NITE) on my teadmill you all have my word on that.
Well I caught a glimpse of 168 a couple days ago, so the weight should be going down again next week. I think my body drops the weight in spurts, lol.
