Finale Weigh-In: Monday, Sept 1st, Labor Day: A day of rest from work, you can pat yourself on the back for the good you've done for your own body this summer~!
Set a reasonable goal that you think you can achieve with making better eating choices, exercising beyond your regular daily activities, drinking more water, counting calories.. however you want, as long as it's a good, healthy way to lose weight. Get started today!

I had a wonderful trip to Maine and had nice visits with all of my family. I'm thrilled to have lost weight as we did eat out at least once a day, everyday.
What worked for me was to eat a small salad or broth based soup before every meal and ask for everything on the side (dressings and sauces). I just dip my fork in to get the flavors and I do not use the low fat dressings when I'm out I love creamy peppercorn too much! Of course I try to get something that is healthy to eat not fried or slathered in something I can not identify. I think I even over estimated the cals in a few of my meals.
Depending on where we ate I would eat light the rest of the day (I brought a lot of my own food to cook)

Gods this was a week of up and down dieting. I managed to loose 2 lbs but not until after I got back up to 187. Being sick sucks.

After a full month I have FINALLY, FINALLY moved out of the 280s!!! This has been a long time coming folks. I was starting to worry that the plateau wouldn't end. Hopefully my scale wasn't just trying to make me feel better this morning!

Out of town...then sick. Finally back on track!
Week 8 (Aug 10th) - 178 lbs (a little early but Monday will be hectic - again)
Since logging onto cal count, I have managed to get back to a size 10 (was pushing a 16) and can finally put on some of my old 8's and get them zipped 1/2 way !!! I think this site helps me be accountable for what goes into the old piehole. Final goal be at a size 8 by Christmas.
Been on vacation for 2 weeks so unable to get to the puter!
But, I did weigh myself on vacation so here we go
