Labour Day

Just wondering if you have any plans for the long weekend.  Ours include getting the kids ready for school .

Can't believe the summer is gone.

On Saturday my sister and I are going biking down the local Rail Trail, which isn't really anything special, as we've been aiming at making it a regular thing all summer (without a whole lot of luck--only made it twice!). Then that evening I'm going over to my sister-in-law's for a get-together. That's about it--hubby is working in New Brunswick and won't be home for another ten days, so I'm on my own with the dogs. I may go to see the heavy horses at the fall fair on Sunday--love seeing the big horses!

Heading to the cottage to spend the last week of summer with all the other cottagers.  We go all year round and this weekend marks the beginning of the change to off season.  By early October we have the lake almost to ourselves.

Plan on brining in the boat before the water gets cool.     Have a great weekend everyone.

Going yard saling with my parents and my nieces and nephew.

And then probably out to a fall fair in one of our smaller, outlying communites.

So as to better see the horses, cows and chickens.

We live a block from the CNE (the Ex) and the air show is on this weekend, so no sleeping! If we can't beat 'em we'll join 'em and then take off to the burbs for BBQ's with friends.
