A few of us have been chatting about how difficult we find weekends. Our problems range from not drinking enough water to simply not logging on to CC at the weekend. Other favourites include not exercising, drinking too much alcohol and not exactly staying on track food-wise! I'm pretty sure I've stayed away from CC at weekends because I knew my "friends" would kick my butt, get me moving and help me stay on track and I didn't REALLY want to!
If any of this sounds familiar, then come and join us. I'm committing to logging on more at weekends, in order to stay focussed but I need people to chat with - interested?
And if you have any bright ideas on how to stay on track at weekends, then please post them here - otherwise, chat to you at the weekend!

challenge for the brave at heart --> for every alcoholic drink, you must consume at least one water/tea/non-caloric drink to match.
I did ok. I think I met my drink for drink challenge and ate ok. ( :

feeling pretty good now, doing part of my work at job2 standing up, and also using someones CC advice to "be as inefficient as possible" regarding things like bringing a cup or paper from one place to another, thewefore moving more:)
Sorry I was no support for the long weekend. I'm glad you were keeping your goals at the front of your brain. Way to go!
I got terribly discouraged around Fri-Sat and was actually contemplating going starvation diet until I get back down 10 pounds. Fortunately on Sunday morning I could once again see the futility of that and have had two good days. I even went out to Denny's, of all places, with my kids and made a good choice that kept me with in my calorie goal. I did log onto CC yesterday but I only had a few minutes and couldn't locate this thread.
I think I've been working really hard around the house and sort of 'rewarding' myself with food. Some reward - tight clothes! I REALLY don't want this to go any further. Help keep me straight ladies!

Well, here it is a Friday again & time to get this tread bumped up the list. I've had SUCH a good week I really don't want to blow it this weekend! What's the challenge this week, Olivia?
My personal challenge will be a picnic Saturday afternoon. My goal is not to do my usual 'little bit of everything' ending with a gigantic plate of food. I'm going to look over the fare and pick what I want most and take a reasonable portion of that. I should have a good enough eye by now to stay within my calorie goal doing that...even with a smidge of desert.
Hoorah! I'm ready!

you can do it at the picnic too.... take a big green salad and a fruit salad and pig out on your own stuff and then do everyone else's. that's my trick. or a veggie tray.... whatever you like best and other people will too...)
CHALLENGES FOR THIS WEEKEND:
Drink at least 64 oz water (I aim for at least 100)
2 servings of fruit/veggies (or more)
try a new activity!!!!!!!
at least 30 minutes physical activity both days!
OH -- and I heard from caro. HURRAY!!!!!!!!! I think she will be back this weekend....
I am at 1100 cals, burned something like 500 today, am going bowling, and pledge NOT to have chili cheese nachos.
I am taking my own Crystal Light, so I can slurp happily and save my cals for snacking after we are done. I hate going out late on Fridays.... I'd rather get going early and be in bed by 11 (yes, I am old). Bout otherwise, getting up to jog sort of sucks and I have been making myself do it on weekend mornings too since I make the challenges......
I skipped nachos. I did not get drunk at the alley and happily drank my lotsa Crystal Light. J stopped at 2 different fast food places after bowling at midnight and I did not get anything!!!!!!!!! in fact, I came home and went to be like a good girl. Got up at 7:30 and ran 4 miles AND rode the bike for 10 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got up and jogged my 5 mile loop, rode the bike for 7 miles, and am drinking water #1.

Hey, hey, hey! I did not pig out at the picnic! YAY! I had some of the southwestern lentil salad that I made (and highly recommend by the way), and four other lighter salads and NO deserts. I did have lots of fruit too.
Actually I was fortunate, I didn't realize that people were SUPPOSED to bring just salads! There really wasn't much there that tempted me to be 'bad'. I think the worst thing there was the pan of chocolate raspberry almond bars that I made. I only tasted a 1/2 " square to be sure I wasn't poisoning anyone. lol! If I can resist the only two surviving bars until DH gets home, I'll be safe.
I also played three rousing games of volleyball in the sand. I don't know how many cals that burned but I do know I hit the sand about 10 times! The spectators got a workout laughing...![]()

Ok I'm back to get down to business! vacation rocked but unfortunately Jeffs camera broke day 2 so we went old school and got disposables! My sister has a bunch on her camera and a few of the actual proposal. I'm working on a picture of the ring as soon as I can get a camera that works to take it! My camera phone does not do it justice it just makes it look like a blur! Another weekend rapidly approaching, and I'm going to my friends wedding out of town. Which = hangover haha and hangover = hangover food! I will do my best to do the old challenge of water for every cocktail. and there will be a whole lotta booty shakin goin on!

weekend will be the last two days of my holiday (booo). planning to do some work at job2 and visit my parents on fri+sat, then see some friends on sunday. hopefully it will be enjoyable and will mark the end of the holiday nicely...

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:

- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
