5'7 ladies...what your goal

I'm 5'7" and my goal is 130lbs.  I started at 145, slowly lost over 4 months until I was 137 and then promptly gained 3 lbs back these past two weeks.  Tell me how it can take soooo long to lose and it's so quick to come back?  I've been less active and started eating cheese again and look what happens! Can't let up for a minute.  But really, to lose I was going very slow because I'm not that overweight and I think that it is more healthy this way as I would have to severely restrict and go below my BMR to lose quicker.  Working out 3-4X per week, 2 hours at a time (martial arts class) and eating about 1700 calories.

oooo i would luv to be 135 thats my goal as well, im 160 right now and i hate it, cuz i used to be 135 and i loved it..but hopefully it will come off with some hard work...

Because of my skeletal structure and previous habit of drinking some of dad's protein shakes as a kid (for YEARS), my realistic goal is 160.

I haven't seen the "under 200" mark for over a decade.

I'm about 5'7.5" and currently weigh 135. My goal is to be 125 by October. I'm not sure how it will look though, and may prefer 130. We shall see!

I'm just shy of five eight, and started out at around 225 lbs.  Right now I'm at 221.  My long term goal is 155ish, because that's why I looked and felt thin, and was in shape.  I have been below that, but I looked oddly thin, even though I wasn't all that thin...My current and first short term goal is 210 by the time school starts (sept).

I'm 5'7" and I am aiming for 160.  Isn't it funny how people the same height cam be so different in frame size!  I started at 197 and I'm about halfway to my goal after 1 year.

I am just shy of 5'7", my ultimate goal is 130 pounds. I started out at 155, and now I'm at 140, did that by cutting my calories pretty much in half and eating filling foods such as cottage cheese, tuna fish, fiber 1 granola bars. For the past two weeks I have not been eating healthy at all, and my weight hasn't gone up a pound! So I think that I completely changed my metabolism, whoo hoo! So now I'm thinking if I just start eating really good again it will go down...I can only hope...

I am 5'7", large frame, female and my goal is about 150 lbs. That puts me pretty much at size 6 bottom and size 8 top and feeling thin and healthy.

Yes it's crazy how different folks can look at the same height but varying weights!!

I'm 5'7.5" (but I tell everyone I'm 5'8" :]) and currently 144, my goal is 135, but my long term goal is 130. I have no boobs, so being 130 wouldn't be that drastic or "sickly" hahaha

I am 5'7, 27, 203lb my GW is 145-140Laughing. Can't wait to get there!!!

5 7.5, very large frame.  I've set my ultimate goal at 150 down from an all time high of 240.  Current CC starting weight 214. , but not sure that 150 is realistic for my frame size, and rather large "girls".  My first goal is 160, so I'll see how that looks on me before I decide.    

I was 135 in high school, and thought I was just sooo fat, because all my friends were like a size 6, and I was a 10.  Now looking back at pix, I was really soooo skinny!   So high school girls out there, it's really not about the size you wear...make sure you know the correct BMI that is healthy for YOU and your frame size, and you'll look great.  

I am 5'7, 22, and my heaviest was 130. I then restricted way down to 94 pounds.....it was horrible!

Now I am implementing a healthy lifestyle and my nutritionist claims for our height that 125-130 is where I would look my best.

Good luck on reaching goals...just make sure they are realistic in the long run!!

I have a small frame, I am currently at 160 and my happy goal is 150, but I'd be thrilled if I get to 145.

I am 54 years young and weighed 316. I had gastric bypass and have lost a lot of weight the rest is mine to get off and it is coming off very slowly at times. If I could just get my eating regualted. I have ulcer and gastritis and eat when I feel I can keep the food down. It has not been easy. I had gained up to 179 and lost down to 169 and 167. Earlier this year I saw 163 biefly, but was very sick on my gut. I was glad to be able to eat some more food. Now, I am at 166. I want to get down to 154 or 156. I don't know about the body frame. I seem to have a problem with body image right now, and hope it irons itself out!

awww thanks guys...see i have to go back home to europe in july 21st and im currently 164...i would love love to get to 140 by then but i dunno..im working pretty hard at it...this is the only thing i hate about going back home...all that pressure to look good...it sucks
I'm 5'7" (well 6.75, technically) and my goal is 125. I have a small frame, and am very straight up and down, and 125 is where I look me best (weighed 115 for a long time... that was too small though).Right now, 133.

I'm 5'6 and I want to be 144-ish.

I have a really small frame though.

i always was 5'8".  apparently, now that i'm 50, i'm only 5'7"...  or at least that's what hubby keeps telling me.

anyway, on 9/4 i was 218 & i'm 141 now.  i guess i'm happy here, but i'd like to get a little lower so that when i gain a few pounds i'll still be under 140.

i'm actually maintaining here right now because everyone keeps telling me how i'm too skinny.  LOL  i'm not!!!

i'll just wait a bit & sneak off a few more pounds.  :D
