Hey I'm about 5'4", looking to lose weight but I'm not quite sure how much. Just curious about what you guys think.
I'm 5'4" and 106 pounds with a small frame, but I pretty much look and feel the way I did at 116, so anywhere from 105-120 [big range, I know] is good for me.
5'4 & 3/4", current weight, 166.4, highest weight, 189. Goal weight 135 I think. I'm working on 10 lbs at a time, I can reevaluate anytime. Since I tend to be more muscular I might stop in the 140s, I just want to get rid of the chunkiness.
5'3.75" medium frame (used to be heavily muscled but much less so now, I'm 42)
currently: 123lbs
Probably going to be very healthy between 115 and 120. I suppose I'll look to hover in that neighborhood.

Hullo all ^o^
I'm 5' 4" and 111 pounds...I started at 130. I'm aiming for about 108, since my frame is teensy.

Basically keep your BMI between 20 and 25.

hi, i just recently started walking 4 miles a day, doing light weights, and keeping my cals around 1400/day. im about 5ft5in and 195lbs. was a little larger a few years ago at size 18-20 and 217lbs. i got as small as 169 and i was comfortable at that weight. unfortunately, i didn't stick to my exercise routine and regained back to my current weight of 195. now that i've hit 39, its much harder to lose than before, but im determined to do it and keep it off this time. i had a tummy tuck about 2 years ago, so i don't look like i weigh 195 but i do. my issue is that the numbers affect my emotional state, and i sometimes cry and feel really low. people are always stating the obvious(girl, u gained weight), which causes me to eat more at times. my friend basically told me that i was too large to be in her wedding, and my sister is constantly telling me that she "worked out" today and now she is a size 6. how do i stay focused and accomplish my goals and feel good about myself at the same time, when it apppears that the numbers are not moving at all on the scale.
5ft5in weight 195. kinda between medium and large frame. goal weight of 150. exercise routine is walking briskly at 3.5mph daily for about 4 miles and light weights. watching cals. staying around 1400/day. drinking lots of water, at least 6 bottles a day. the scale isnt moving!!! help!!!!
I'm 5'3" and my goal wieght is 125 to 130. I think I start to look bony if I get below 125. I am currently 170 and of medium build.
Thank you all for your responses, you've been a lot of help! As of today I weigh 146 pounds, started at 160. Before posting this bulletin I was thinking that 125 would be a good ultimate goal, and I see that many of you are in that area. I've also decided that I'll just have to see how I look as I lose more weight, and base my decision on that. I also do not want to look too thin, I still want to be curvy! Just want to lose some of the chubiness, also as you said smwhipple. Thanks again :)
Hi i am only 5,3 and my goal weight is 120 or les and i have reached that goal. i would say 130-135 for someone of your height:)
I am 5'5. My highest was around 214. I'm currently 181-184 My goal is 130-135. Much will depend on how I feel and what size I am at. Mostly I want to be able to wear a bikini at the lake and not scare everyone! :-)
I'm just under 5'4" with a medium-small frame. I'm currently 138 lbs. I was around 123 in high school and I'd like to be around that again. 115 would be ideal, but probably not realistic to maintain. I made it to 126.5 last summer, but then got sick and now I'm working to lose weight put on from taking steroid medication. The heaviest I've ever been was 143, which made me feel super uncomfortable.
Hello!
I'm about 5'5 1/2, 19, Small Frame, and I hit my goal weight of 120lbs. Now I'm just working on toning.
:)
Hope that helps~

I'm 5'3", goal weight is 115. Currently at 121, started at 135 6 months ago.
I'm glad I found this thread! It's very encouraging to see other women the same height as me trying to lose the same weight as well! I'm hoping this will act as more motivation.
I'm 5'4, 140lbs (flucuates a lot), and hoping to get around 125lbs by the end of August- although it's less about how much weight I lose and more about just looking visibly thinner/more toned, etc.
Good luck!

I am 27, 5'4", small/medium athletic build. I currently weigh 130-132 and would like to get to 120-125. I think my muscles from running, etc. contribute to my current weight.
I'm 5-4 and was 208 when I started. My goal weight was 145 (and I'm floating from there to 150 right now!). I wouldn't mind getting to 130 but I think anything less would be too thin. My doctor told me that he wouldn't want to see me go below that anyways because I'm just big chested and that isn't going to go away.
