Any ladies about 5'4"-- Goal Weights please??
I am 5 4 and I weight 179 right now in the am. I used to be 140 to 135 and that is my ideal weight. Since Paxil (6 years ago) and since two babies-my youngest is 14 1/2 months. I ended both pregnancies at 215 or so. After my son I got to 162 with Phentermine. After my recent baby, my daughter, nothing would help. I started eating clean in January and lost 17 lbs. I have been stuck for a while. My ultimate goal is 150-160. But, I think I look about 165 right now because I wear a size 10 or 12 pants and large top......It's just stuck and I can't get it off. I am also slow thyroid, so I just started medicine for that. Overall, for this height I think a size 6-8 would be healthiest. I would like to be able to unstick myself. But, like the others said it's really about how your body is. If I weighed 150 I would look super thin-even though that's considered "overweight" by the standards of BMI.
everyone keeps telling me that is way too small but i honeslty dont think it is =/
I'm just happy that I'm already feeling better, esp. since baby is sleeping through the night and I'm getting more exercise!

I think that my body isn't built for much less than 130, BUT my aim is to be 150. Of course I am taking it bit by bit. One pound at a time.
I say that we shouldn't compare our selves to others but be conscious of how much extra weight we are lugging around and mold our goals around the weight we look and feel the best.

my goal weight is to get down to at least 119 if not smaller. my bones stick out when i'm that small...so idk if thats what you want. but i love it :)
Im 5'5" highest weight: 222lbs and current weight: 159lbs. I would like to eventually get down to 135ish. But I think I will just re-eval how I look when I reach 145 (BMI=24) as I am VERY big-boned and have lots of hips, lol.
I'm 5'4" and currently weigh 127 lbs, I've never weighed more than 135, and I think the weight that I looked the best at was 120...my goal right now is 123, which feels a little more attainable, but I would do the happy dance if I could be 120 and start working on maintenance calories rather than deficit calories.
I'm 5'4" - currently 136, my highest weight : ( - and my weight has fluctuated since I went on my first diet.
Previously I had fluctuated between 116 and 123 in high school. The summer after sophomore year (during which I gained some weight) I went from 130 to 114. Even though I ate healthily I guess that was too low, because it messed up my sex hormones (my breasts shrunk!). I've had to go on birth control to stabilize everything, and I gained 20 lbs in 3 months from the pill! Now I'm trying ot lose it all over again, and having a really hard time of it.
Anyway, my point is, be careful going too low, because it can really hurt your body. I would stop at 125 and see how you feel, and if you need to lose more, make it gradual, because being thin is not worth the damage to your body (and the fat that comes with it) when your hormones get messed up.
I'm 5'3 3/4 but I generally round up to 5'4 because .25 of an inch ain't much in my book.
I am currently 135. Lowest ever was 129. Goal weight is 120 or 115. Haven't decided.
My CW is 235 and my {first} goal weight is 180, then to 150-160 ~ that is the range where I feel healthiest and look best, IMO.
My target weight is 135. I'm currently 240.

I'm with you there, groupiegirlnj, my mid-way {sort of} goal is to just see the number '1' in front when I step on the scale ~ I will do THE MOST TRIUMPHANT happy dance when that day comes - it's been TOO long!!!
