Ladies-What guy styles do you like?
Also, do you agree with guys wearing makeup--by makeup, I mean cover-up...things that make your face look "cleaner"
i think guys look best dressing in modern, well fitted layered clothing but without looking too tight. (ex. a form fitting ribbed sweater over a collared shirt paired with a dark wash jean and matching color chucks)
one of my favorite rituals is plucking my bf's ear, brow, and nose hairs. i give him pedicures too. think of apes...it's good pair bonding!
Hair: Can't stand long hair. Most guys can't pull it off without looking like they belong in a metal show. (I like metal, I just don't like the look).
Clothes: I like the laid back look. Jeans, a t-shirt and workboots. I love workboots. (I don't care if the t-shirt says something. Most of the time I find them entertaining. Plain is fine too)
Hygiene: Obviously standard hygience is necessary but I don't mind when the BF comes home from work all dirty. Actually, it's kind of hot. =)
No makeup unless it Halloween.
i like a guy who knows how to dress, but doesn't look like he's trying too hard. basically, i like a guy who knows how to dress appropriately for the occasion. don't wear a button down and dress pants when i take you to a sox game, but don't wear a sox jersey and ball cap when you take me to a nice dinner.
i like short hair. long hair is...ugh. fabio to me is the epitome of UNSEXY. facial hair is ok with me. i think a little stubble is hot.
i definitely love a guy in a nice suit.
funny though, because i also love the days when i leave work early and end up on the train with all the construction guys. covered in paint and dirt, steel toed boots, carhartt jackets. oh MY.
I love my Boyfriend's look.
Jeans that are tight enough to not SAG, but sit low on his hips, shirts that are tight enough to show off the flatness of his stomach, but loose enough that you can't see the 6 pack, and he couldn't flex and rip it haha.
Basically clothes that fit naturally, like he pulled them on that morning and they just skim his lines just right.
I love his hair when it's shorter so I can see his face and forehead, and I like it tousled. I HATE HATE HATE it when he combs it to one side with that stupid preppy school boy look. Ick. (perfect example: http://www.hji.co.uk/hjimages/images/qhs1084/ hji/medium/1961-men-parting.jpg )
The side parted perfectly combed hair just screams I try too hard, and I'm a socially inept Momma's boy dork.
I love my dork, but he's not a momma's boy, or socially inept.
Lastly, he wears a goatee. It looks really adorable on him, but I don't want a full beard (reminds me of my Dad too much!)
I love guys in jeans and t-shirts and! They have to fit without being too tight or loose; jeans should just sit perfectly on the hips and shirts cannot look like a bedsheet they threw on. Button down shirts can be okay, but full suits always seem so stiff and uptight to me. And I HATE the preppy khaki/polo/loafers sort of look; the guys who wear that stuff just seem to take themselves too seriously. Work boots are probably the best shoes, (and now that I'm in Texas I can appreciate cowboy boots a bit too), but I refuse to even talk to a man who wears sandals. Flip-flops are okay in certain situations, but those weird leather man sandals (mandals!) gross me out.
I love men who are bald, but I also love the shoulder-length hair (both only when the guys can pull it off... Not all of them can). And I love tattoos (only if they're well done, though. If it looks like a prison tat I'm SO not interested). Piercings I can take or leave, especially facial ones, but I do think it's sexy when a guy has one ear pierced. And the goatee/mustache combo is totally hot. Especially with some next day stubble going on. Mmmm. :-)
I like pudgy guys with fros! It might sound weird, but I really do.
I like a dorky and or indie style.
NO MAKE-UP!!!
I love Seth Rogan, Max Bemis, and Nick Swardson. They're pretty much my ideal type guys.
I like the long-sleeved tee under a short sleeved tee. With jeans that fit. For typical hanging out..and then for going out to nice dinner or whatever, a plain-ish striped button down or nice polo and nicer jeans or khakis are okay. And I love my boyfriend in camouflage cargo shorts and a tee. He also has some nerdy glasses that he looks really hot in. Basically I think he looks good all the time though. I might be idealizing him a little because I haven't seen him in six weeks. I'm pretty sure I used to hate his clothes, haha.
Ergh, some of my boyfriends girl friends put eyeliner on him on the last day of college, it looked so so so horrid, hes ginger and pale with blue eyes he just looked dead. In no way shape or form should a boy wear make up!!
I like all kinds of boys, all kinds of dress styles! I'm only specific about some things, I like a boy to be at least 6' minimum, I'm like 5'6"-7" and wear heels all the time and very high heels when I am going out, I don't want to tower over my man! Also I don't want my boy to be skinny, and expose his skinnyness (no tight jeans please ergh! They make boys look like storks with giant feet sticking out at the bottom)! My boyfirnd works in a supermarket and the pus side of him doing more hours is his back, shoulders and arms get really tonk and look great!
But honestly, the most most most important thing is they are nice and they are smart. Anyone can be attractive one they have those two qualities down!

Tattoos, jeans (or khaki shorts) and a button up shirt. Some facial hair or scruff, I prefer non-shaved head unless his head is nicely shaped.
No make-up, preferably. I like a masculine, man's man.
Oh man...I agree with the gal who likes the construction worker/mechanic blue-collar type. My hubby is the sexiest thing alive when I see him at the plant site...walking up in his hardhat, reflective sunglasses, five-o'clock shadow, teeshirt, jeans and steel-toed boots. Makes me wanna' jump him then and there. He's in the HVAC business for himself so he's blue-collar through and through.
I like tattoos - but not more than 2 or 3. I like facial hair - a very short mustache/goatee is sexy. Long hair doesn't do it for me. I like cowboys -- but only if they're really cowboys. None of this wanna'be stuff. The biker/bad boy look is a turn-on, I have to say.
Turn offs: Metrosexuals. Leave my nail file and hair products alone. No makeup. I'd rather see zits. I'd also rather have a man with callouses on his hands and dirt under his fingernails than a Metro. -- I work for attorneys so there are plenty of this type around. You shake their hand and it feels like lotioned jello. Uugh... No amount of money in the world would attract me to a man like that. Other turnoffs - Goths, Skaters, Preps.
I dated a short guy once -- but found that they usually have complexes (sorry - it's true). My ideal man is one that I can't physically pick up off the ground (and I've got him - yeah!).
For me, I'm all about a man who looks like a man. I love just a tshirt and jeans preferably a black tee (mmmm) I like short hair but also long hair on a man if he can pull it off and absolutely NO 80's looking feathery long hair-ewww.
Now facial hair I like, well goatees and beards are hot.. but NO TOM SELLEK mustaches. EVER.
I love tastefull tattoos, especially when a guy is completely sleeved! I can dig piercings... but not too many, like their whole face pierced isn't my thing.
My man looks the absolute hottest when he's wearing worn jeans and a sleeve less tshirt and his sunglasses taking off on his motorcycle.MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Guy-liner is so LAME. I think that kid from Fall Out Boy killed it all because I used to think it was kind of cute when I was younger. Of course, I could have grown up, too...
I hate to sound cliche, but I love my boyfriend's style. He is long and lean, wears skinny jeans (that actually look REALLY good on him because he is...well...skinny), metal t-shirts (even though some of them can be inappropriate) and baseball hats. A weird combo, but I love it. It gives him an "edge" (oh man, I am bordering on lame!!) but he is still clean, smells good and is put together. I would laugh and beat him off if he ever would put on makeup because that's so vain. I wear little makeup myself, so if he would take longer than me getting ready, I would make such fun of him. He plans on getting sleeved, which I am so for, but I am not into the whole piercing thing, on guys or gals. He is tall, dark and handsome, so I guess that is what I am into to! We have been together for 7 years and I guess my tastes change when he does...![]()
My fiancee wears make-up on occasion... and no one else would ever be the wiser. It's very subtle, but you can tell there's some difference. And I think it's totally hot, and he rocks it ;)
I could understand not liking a lot of noticeable weird make-up... but I like some. I also like a nice clean shaven soft face... so kissable!
Totally agree!
I love my husband's look/style- he usually just wears jeans (baggy) and a tshirt, he has a short fade haircut, clean shaven (mostly because he can't grow any facial hair- poor guy lol) and he has three tattoos (neck, wrist, and leg)
Oh I forgot- NO MAKEUP
Clothing optional ![]()
Actually, I think guys should just wear what they're comfortable in. My only criteria is cleanliness. Smelling nice is bonus points...LOTS of bonus points.
I don't know why guys would want to get into wearing make-up. Most of the time, I hate putting on make-up, unless I'm going out. Please spare yourselves the trouble.
I couldn't wear make-up. I dont have the sytle for it. I usually have a pair of jeans, stonewashed hipsters or bootleg with a pair of bland trainers (with no funny colours or writing on them) and then I wear a normal stylish T-shirt. i'll show pics, I have no facial hair and I have my hair shortish and in a faux hawk

I think I have okay style (I just like the T-shirt and its something I would wear but not with the jeans)
I love messy. But messy on purpose, like they don't smell bad or anything.
