Ladies and ladylikemen, I just bought mascara that blew my mind.

haha seriously.

Loreal Paris Double Extend Lash Tubes mascara. It looked pretty cool on the commercials so I thought I would buy it and it is bananananananas.

My lashes are HUMONGOUS and it does not smudge when you take it off, you just put warm water on your lashes and the mascara literally comes off like little tubes.

So I would suggest buying it. It was like 10 bucks at Walgreens.

I have lash envy too. Of my husband of all people. He should be the one with the puny lashes not me! So when I say something he .bats his eyelashes lol. So thanks for tip maybe it will help out my puny little lashes.

i agree coffin! i love make-up, but i'm not afriad to roll out of the house without it.

Wow.  All the guilt I felt about unintentionally forcing women to wear make-up has dissipated.  :D

 because it's a luxury and we can afford it...  if i couldn't affrod make-up (i.e., if i had to choose btw makeup and food) i would choose food.  but i like to look pretty once in a while.  most of the time i don't wear makeup since i choose an extra 15 mins of sleep, but it's fun!!

I saw this on TV and thought it was ridiculous - but I'm glad you recommend it!  I think I'll try it.  I'm super anal about mascara because they are always, always chunky and goopy, I hate it.  I recently found Maybelline Soft & Full and its the only one I actually like. 

I only wear mascara and lip gloss. Sometimes I might do eye liner, but it's sooo rare. I don't use any cover-up or anything like that... nothing looks worse than bad skin covered in caked-o/concealer/foundation on mess. I used to powder my nose and forehead because I didn't like when it got shiny, but I learned a good face wash prevents this (most of the time). But then again, I carry oxypads on me when I get shiny now. Plus, they can cause pimples. I have enough problems fighting them off now, I don't need to add to it. =P

I can't go out without mascara or lip gloss. I wear lip gloss all the time! I use chapstick and then put on gloss or balm all day, every day. I go to bed at night with chapstick on. I haven't had chapped lips in forever.  Mascara is just fun to use, I like when my lashes look longer.

And I want to try this mascara, but I don't think it's worth 10 bucks... I'll have to wait till it's on sale. I only buy mascara on sale anyway, they last a long time. :)

Is there a trick to unstick the lashes from eachother? Sometimes when I put on mascara, my lashes decide to bunch up and I try to seperate them with tweezers but they just go back... it's such a pain. Unless this is the clumping people are talking about...

Thanks for tip of heating the eyelash curler. Never thought of that. Eyelash curlers never seemed to help mine.

Yeah, that's clumping Cpt.  I have an old toothbrush I use to de-clump mascara.  Just brush on the clumpy part and it takes some of the mascara off and frees the lashes.

De-clumped.

I use an eye lash brush after putting on mascara to separate out the lashes if necessary.  The metal ones work better imo.

 You're supposed to get new eyeliner like once a month because of the bacteria that builds up.

The one I suggested I saw on sale at many places when I was home in a buy-one-get-one pack... 2 for $10.

If you use disposable brushes, then you don't need to worry about bacterial build up.  Alternatively, use a powder and clean your brushes frequently.

Do not share make up unless you use disposable applicators.

Hrmm, I might have to try this. I have used Diorshow (which I love), Kiss Me which comes off in those tubes like you say but it never made my lashes very full or long. I like it for when I know I'll be outside or really hot because it doesn't smudge. It just stayed on really well. Right now I'm on to YSL Faux Cils which I REALLY like a lot.

See the problem here is all those mascaras cost a min of $25 so if there's a $10 one, I'm all over it.

I went and bought this mascara and I love it too. It doesn't really make my lashes look any longer than the one I was already using, but it makes them feel softer and it doesn't flake at all and it's so cool how it comes off! haha

I found my holy grail of mascaras at the Mecca of makeup Sephora *happy sigh*.

Its called FiberWig with tiny fibers in them that attach to your lashes and make them long as hell.  not only that, but it also clings to the individual lashes so you don't have clumping.  Its from Japan and it costs like, 22 bucks.  Now I'll have to try the Double Extend - hopefully it will work just as good for half the price.

I lost my old one

I went and got some too! Y'all are going to think I'm yucky, but I didn't remove it and when I woke up it still looked perfect, so I just kept it, then the next day, it still looked great and I kept it on again. I am removing it tonight. I took a shower and washed my hair, but not my face, and would you believe not a single smudge??!! It holds really really well, as in my lashes are still curled from the day before yesterday.

Tomorrow is my birthday and today I went and bought this mascara! It wasn't on sale, I paid $10.99 for it X_x. I'll wear it tomorrow and report back! I even bought an eyelash brush thingie! Eeee! I love mascara, I turn into such a girlie girl when I'm around it.
