I'm always trying to keep an eye open for 5'6" ladies here. There doesn't seem to be too many. I'd like to get an idea of what the 5'6" ladies' goals are. What they weigh now, etc....
I'm 5'6.5 but I'm only here to maintain - I'm around 120 lbs and 29 years old. I've never really lost or gained weight but I quit smoking in Jan so I'm just trying to watch it.
HI, I am 5'6. I am here to lose the last 18 pounds. I have lost 72 pounds in the past 2 1/2 years. I am down from 245 to 173 today. Hope by Christmas I can be at my goal! So that will be 155. I wear a size 13/14 but will be happy to be a 11/12 when I reach my goal.(actually, truth be known...I am happy being a 13/14!!!) We shall see tho? God bless linda
I'm 5'6", 22, and 159 pounds (down from 162--I've only been here a few weeks), and a size 12. My goal is 130-135 for now, and then we'll see if another 5-10 would be reasonable/healthy after that.
I'm 5'6", 54 y/o. Currently 195, down from 256. Not sure yet what my final goal is. I will definitely get back to 145 and then we will see how I look/feel. Maybe I will try for 130? (*never* been that thin)
Many people think I am taller, so last month I had the Dr measure me and he confirmed I am 5'6". Maybe it is the way I stand?
hi, i am 5'6 but i am only 14 so maybe i will get taller then that.... i weighed 165 back in june now down to 132 want to get down to 120 maybe 113.....
Hey I'm 5'6 and I currently weigh 181 lbs and wear a size 14 pants. My goal is to reach 150 lbs and go from there, but ultimately 140 would be nice. If anyone wants a buddy to help them along, I am in desperate need for one!! I need someone to push me along...lol. (I'm also losing to go to the military).
I'm 5' 6 1/2" and 49 y/o. I am currently 148 and started CC at the end of May at 171. My current goal is 143 so I've got another 5 to go. I've switched my focus from weight loss to building back some of the muscle I lost so the scale probably won't move too much for me, but that's alright. I started at 31% body fat and am now at 27.5% but would like to get it down to 22 - 24%. Yep, I'm one of those people that look somewhat thin but in reality I'm carrying too much fat on me. I started at a size 14 and am now back into my size 10's.
Hi, I am 5'6 also. I will be 29 in November. I was using this site awhile ago, and got down to 139...but then I got lazy and went back up to 155. I have been counting calories and walking for two weeks now and I am down to 149. I have a goal to be 130-135, hopefully by Christmas or before. I am in a size 12 and would love my size 10 to fit comfortable again.

I'm 16, and 129 lbs right now (or waas a couple days ago). I stopped calorie counting for a good 20 days just to get back to normal, and will start once school starts and thats on wednesday. =)

I am 5' 6". My current weight is 139.5 and my goal is 120lbs.
I'm 5'6'' and currently 150 lbs, I lost 20 last year using CC, and then slacked off and regained 10 of it! I'd like to get back on track and lose 20lbs again, ultimately getting to about 130. Right now I'm just barely fitting into my size 10's, and I'd really like to get into single-digit pants sizes :) I think what I didn't do last time was get some buddies to help me, anyone want to be my buddy?
I'm 5'6, 23, and my goal is between 150-154. This will give me a healthy BMI. My body is not made to be thin, so I am shooting for healthy.
I started about two weeks ago at 146lbs. dropped 6.5 lbs in two weeks. FYI, I am 26.

5'6", 35 y/o, and currently 175. Lost 14 pounds in nine weeks (about 1.5 pounds a week). But I also have lost 17 total inches! I tend to look about 10 lbs lighter than what I weigh, I have been told I have great posture. I wear a size 10 in pants and an 8 in skirts, medium top. Goal on CC is 139, but I will see. The last time I weighed in the 130's I was in high school. I was 148 in college and looked good, at least in the pics from that time. Right now I want to get to 150, then I will go from there.
Hi there, I'm 5'6" and 49 years old - suffering from that middle-age spread and "slow creep" of weight gain, along with other annoying age-related negatives, that began around 40. In May I went for a physical exam and weighed 181 (yikes!). At 40 I was 160. I was told to loose 25lbs to be healthy, which seems impossible! I haven't weighed 155 since college! But through eating less/better and keeping the exercise workouts going, I'm down to 174 and counting. My goal is to loose a lb a week. Got down to 171 a week ago but somehow have gained some back. Oh, the frustration!!
Hi all, I'm 5' 6 1/2". 38, soon to be 39, years old and I am currently at 125. I lost ten lbs. a couple months ago and am now focusing on toning. I do a lot of weight & cardio but have not had my fat percentage measured.
What a great post! I'm 5'6", 34 years old. I gained 35 pounds last year when I moved switched jobs, and I have started really trying to lose the weight about 2 weeks ago (it's taken me a while to get my act together). I am 198 now, and would like to get to 150-155 lbs. I'm glad to see that so many other women my height have a similar weight goal to myself. I always thought 150 lbs seemed so heavy for someone my height, but when I weighed that much several years ago I thought I was really fit. I'd love to get back there!
