Ladies - Question on Breast size

Quote  |  Reply
    Hi all!

I thought, because of the low fat diet, I would go down a cup or 2 in bra size... but to my surprise, I am still a C-D cup... Lost alittle. I was expecting to loose a couple of cup sizes.

When i was young, i starved myself just to loose 15 pounds.
I went down to a B cup.

I figured I had lost fat and muscle. But breast mostly fat?

By the way, I also do weight lifting for chest and shoulders. Is this helping keep my breast a bigger size.

I'm no expert but I don't think that breasts are made of fat or muscle.  It's breast tissue, milk ducts, etc.  They can become larger due to fat but if there isn't fat on your chest to begin w/ then getting rid of fat won't decrease your bra size.  Maybe when you were younger and got down to a B your body wasn't fully developed yet.  Maybe your actual size, no matter what, is a C-D, which, by the way, if you care, I think is perfect and what most women would find totally ideal & beautiful.
ive only just begun my weight loss journey, and with 16lbs gone ive
noticed a slight change in my breast size. now they are only a small C
cup to begin with, so im PRAYING im not going to become flat chested, i
love them too much haha. about the chest exercises, from what i
understand they do not keep you from losing your breast fat, but they
do assist in stopping them from drooping....i may be wrong. but i hope
it helped :)
I've gone from a full 36B, to a 34A.  =(  I didn't have much to begin with and I hope they stop shrinking!

My sister on the otherhand has lost nearly 50lbs and has gone down to a smaller band size, but is still a DD.

I think I got screwed in the gene pool.
i'm still a B cup, but i have an eerie feeling i'm going to be pretty flat once i've lost the weight :^(

oh well, push up bras!
Your breasts will shrink with weight loss. Working your pectorals helps the muscle that supports them but will do nothing for the actual breast itself ,which is made up of a lot of fat with the breast tissue.
I have always been small chested.  I'm a B cup, and sometimes, depending on how the cup is made, there is a little "jiggle" room.  So my cup size has remained the same, even though I've dropped nearly 100 lbs.  But, this is probably one of those things that is individual to each woman's body.
I am back to counting calories, but I had surgery 3 years ago and have lost, 100 pounds, though i have gained some back.. but even when i was down 100 pounds, I stayed the same bust size.. actually, that was a concern of mine, I thought i would lose my chest, but I did.. still a 44DD... would like to keep the DD, just go down to a different number LOL
I lost my boobs along with the weight. I went from 160 lbs to 120 lbs, and from a 38D to a 34A. Part of me is a bit sad, but I'm mostly happy. I can now walk around my apartment w/o a bra, I can sleep on my stomach, and running is way less painful. Truthfully, I don't miss my boobs, and push-up bras are now my friends. =)
I've recently lost 30 lbs. and I'm a 34DD down from a 36DD...boo,hoo,hoo. I too had hoped that my breasts would get smaller. It seems all my friends are getting smaller boobs as they lose weight, but not me, and they're much smaller breasted!! I can't sleep comfortably on my stomach, running sucks and buying bras is much more expensive for big breasted women. Cute, supportive bras for big boobs... don't exist. If anyone out there knows of cute, sexy, supportive bras for big boobs, please let me know.
I only had abotu 15 to lose but so far nothing in my boobs. Ironically they look larger (but Im a 34b - small side so it can't get much smaller ;) )
I think my 'beauts', as my hubby puts it, got bigger once I started doing strength excersize.  I have never "pumped iron" before, so after losing 20lb overall, fat around my ribs and back has gone down, but the cup size is a bit bigger.  Happy surprise! :)
If you are apple shaped that is the last place you will lose. I am apple shaped so I tend to carry more weight in my upper body. You could try and focus on more excerises that work the upper body. I have lost weight and never really got the size of mine down (36C).
Mine haven't shrank much, but they did start sagging. My theory, no fat rolls underneath from the belly holding them up anymore! So, I guess I have to take the good with the bad and start buying some decent bras.

I do not understand why any one would want to have smaller boobs..

My boobs were much bigger than now but as I have lost weight,I lost weight in my boobs,too..and now my boobs are smaller and like hanging there..

To be honest,that friggin' sucks!

My advice..c-cup is beautiful..keep your boobs the way they are already..

unless you have a small-frame body..and then your boobs are too big for your body-shape...then maybe you'd better lose weight in your boobs..which..btw..I do not know how lol..

For me,I lost weight..I lost my boobs..Cry

Unfortunately, my chest was the first thing to start shrinking with my weight loss and, I think, one of the most noticeable places I have lost (along with my face/cheeks).  I started as a 40D and am now a 36C....barely.....I'm guessing I will be a B before long.  :(

I hope to return to 32C, which I was before I gained a lot of weight and my chest went to 32DD.

My chest was the first thing to go when I started losing weight as well. I went from a 36D to a 34C. I actually don't mind having smaller breasts. It could get pretty uncomfortable at times when I was larger, so it's nice not having the extra weight to carry around. LOL.

I was very happy to drop from a 38E to a 36C.  Boobs that are too big are uncomfortable!

not only is having over-sized boobs uncomfortable, but it can cause many health issues, especially back problems.

When going on a trampoline means risking a black eye, you know you've got a problem.

Personally, I've lost about 10lbs, and I've noticed a smaaall difference, but I'm hoping as I lose the other 80-something lbs I'll go down from like a 34 DD, to a C...hopefully...maybe...it would be nice.

the first place i lose weight is in boobs!

im 172 down from 178 and they already shrunkk!!!!! ahhh
