5'0 ladies:whats your goal/how r you doing it?!
Hi, I am female, 5'0" , 30yrs old and 112lbs. Brief history - I used to hover between 120-122lbs FOR YEARS, despite healthy eating and vigorous workout...but i ALWAYS wanted to lose "just 10lbs". At the beginning of this year I essentially cut my intake by eating only half of my typical meal (I didn't count calories). I got down to 109/108 and then discovered calorie count. I started to follow this and eat more (had few too many summer parties/ had unexpected surgery) and am now 112lb and want to get down to 108.
My question is, cc has me eating "1265 to lose" even though i put in moderate activity...(I have to eat at maintenance two days/week or i"ll go crazy so thats like 1800...but I am not losing!!)
What are you shorties eating/doing to lose the last few pounds and are you having success?
anyone...your help would be greatly appreciated!!! pleeeeeze :)
Hi,
I am also 5'0" and at the start of the year I too was hovering around 120. I now weigh 110/109. I'm hoping to get down to 105. My weight loss has been VERY slow. The only advise I can give is stick at it & be very diligent. I don't count caloires but I am very careful about what I eat now. The extra handful of cereal / sweets / chips counts! Workout wise, I exercise around 3-5 times a week usually rotating Turbo Jam with pilates. A couple of years back I went through a period of going to the gym 6 days a week for 90 minutes each time. I didn't lose any weight or anything, just exhausting myself out.
Anyway enough rambling on...hope it helps :)
you know whats the hardest thing ?-- even though i know i weigh less than i did when i started, i have these feelings that i look the same (even though i am a dress size down..) it can be so discouraging. thats interesting that you were working out so much and not seeing any results -- maybe thats what i am doing to myself...mmm. Are you seeing good results now that you are not working out as much? if you could estimate - how many cals do you think you are eating--do you have "cheat days"/ eat what you want?
thanks so much for you reply , and best of luck with you weightloss, you seem to have found something that works for you!
