Hello all,  just started 2 days ago on this website and am finding alot of imformation and inspired to try this out.   My daughter and I have joined the fitness center and attended every morning no matter what my shift is.  I have over 100lbs to loose and it is definitely a challenge.  I gained 26lbs since march because I guit smoking and had surgery and have offically been released to do physical activities.  I didnt realize how much I had been eating.  Now I have to force myself to do anything.  I would like someone close by to call and receive calls from for guidance and needing guidance........anyone interested?

Gina

Hello gmay32.   I live in Baytown and have lost 50 lbs over the past year or so.  It's been a LONG road but I'm feeling great.  I have 57 lbs left to lose.

I've totally changed my eating habits, mostly fresh fruits/vegetables, no red meats (only chicken, fish and turkey).  I think it's GREAT that your daughter is working with you, that definitely will help keep you focused.  Good luck!

If you're looking for additional support, let me know.

Cool Hey here at Good old Humble, Tx...so just start eating right follow the gold old food pyramid and drink lots of water..TRY not to drink soft drinks and cut down on sweets...I use to be 236 lbs got down to 165 lbs and now am 175 lbs but life happens but you get on track and you can do it...try to encourage yourself by taking time to do the best for you! Good Luck!

I live in Texas City.  I just started back with Calorie Count after putting on about 50 lbs!!  I had gastric bypass surgery in April 2004 and lost a total of 127.  During the past two years, I had other surgeries, and got out of my routines and 50 lbs came back on without my even realizing it until my clothes quit fitting!!  What a rude wake up call that was when I went shopping again for BIGGER clothes!!    This time, I am determined to get back down to what I got to after the gastric bypass and even lower.!!

You can contact me anytime!!

I live in La Porte also but I am new to the area.  I like to walk 2-3 miles a day and the closest place I can find to walk outside is Crenshaw in Pasadena.  Do you know of any other place?
