| 1 | pound ground beef, lean |
| 1 | pound ground pork, lean |
| 16 | ounces ricotta cheese |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 | pound pasta |
| 64 | ounces tomato sauce |
| 2 | pounds mozzarella cheese |
- brown beef & pork allowing it to crumble, drain
- in a large mixing bowl blend egg & ricotta
- add meat to cheese mixture, blend well
- boil lasagna noodles
- cook sauce, seasoning to taste
- place a thin layer of sauce on bottom of baking pan
- cover with a layer of noodles
- cover noodles with meat mixture
- add tomato sauce to cover meat layer
- repeat until pan is full
- cover with a layer of noodles
- cover with sauce and a layer of mozzarella
- bake at 350 for 2 hours
