I'm in the same boat.  I'm stuck at 141 since June 1st and since then changed my activity to include biking, running and toning.  My calorie intake is 1200-1400.  I usually work out for only a half hour.  I'm 5'5" and 28years old.  I keep a 20/30/50- fat/protein/carb diet and drinking plenty of water.

I have just a few more pounds to go and my goal date keeps moving further and further away.  It's depressing and frusterating that I'm doing more work and seeming to get nothing back.

Any advise would be very much appreciated!!!
ditto.. i am at 145 at stand only 5'3" so that last ten will make me go from chubby to toned.  I want to get a least 5-7 off my july 10- Vegas BABY!
Where do you find out what your "ratio" should be? I see people here sticking to certain ratios, is it for your body type, weight, ??
20F/30P/50C is just a real common one.   Some do a lil more carbs, some more protein.  I think this one is kinda happy medium.
Are you tracking your measurments?

I've noticed that my body seems to have a natural "stopping" point when it comes to weight loss.  With exercise, I'll still tone up and lose inches, but the scale doesn't change.  I'm 3 pounds away from that point now, so I don't know if it's going to happen this time, or not. *crosses fingers*

Def. go by your measurements. When you are close to your goal, it's a more accurate way to track your true size.
I do not keep track of my measurements, i judge it also by the way my clothes fit, and there is no happy story there either.
ooooo  pick me!!  I know this one!!   I was there... heck I think I JUST TODAY left there!!  The weight did not budge, however my size did.  For a freakin month I was 10 pounds away from my goal.  I started drinking TONS of water, and that seemed to keep the flux out, I just stayed at 136 instead of going up to 138 and back to 136.  Then the worst happened... I fell off the wagon. HARD.  For four days I ate what I wanted when I wanted it.  I did not log.  then I came back.  after a few days, (literally...Moday was the last binge day, Tuesday I weighted 137.5 today 134.5...)  I think that threw my metabolism for a loop and that is how if finally came off!!
that's a common method for jolting your body into burning again, dove-it's good to zigzag calories.

I added a protein shake to my breakfast, and that's when I started losing again. guess I wasn't getting quite enough before.
Well the weekend is nearly here, so a curve ball may be inadvertantly be coming my way.   I'm still mentally preparing how I'm going to get everything in tomorrow before we go out for beers and BBQ!

I'm hoping for some hours of cool weather this weekend to do some running.   I'm going to predict that friday may get messy, Saturday will be good, and Sunday I'll fall behind cuz that's what Sundays do.  /sigh
dove2424 what did you keep your calorie intake at daily?
That calorie zig-zag thing does work!  For three days I watched in horror as the scale moved up .2 lbs - 142.8, 143, 143.2!!  Then, the next day I only ate twice, one hamburger happy meal at Burger King at around 2pm & three HUGE slices of Hawaiin Barbeque Chicken pizza from Papa Johns at like 11:30 pm.  The next morning I stepped on the scale only to reveal a whopping 142.4!  It's crazy!  I'd been eating 5 times a day, while keeping my calorie count down to 1200-1400 & all of a sudden BAM I'm eating fatty pizza in bed late at night and that indignant pound drops off overnight!  I think I tricked my body.  It was so used to me eating the RIGHT foods THROUGHOUT the day, that it just kept on metabolizing like usual...

Also, consider that since you weigh less than you used to, you'll have to up the amount of effort to lose the remaining weight.  A 150 lbs. woman automatically burns more calories running at the same pace and amount of time than a woman who weighs 120 lbs.  Does that make sense?  I just read that like last week & I believe it.  So, lets up our water intake, exercise regimens and throw our diets off like one day out of the week and see if it helps!  What do ya think?
Before the fall off the wagon I was at about 1500 to 1700 daily depending onmy work out and how hard I pushed me at the gym.. when I fell I have no idea.. I ate pizza jellybeans, doughnuts, more jellybeans, fried onions at outback and so on... I know it was horrific!  But when I came back Tuesday, I got right back on track and low and behole yesterday i weighed at a new low!
OMG jellybeans and pizza!  ROFL!
