Sorry i cant be more helpful, but do let me know if you figure it out!  I'm about 40 pounds down and the last 10 just wont go away >.<

Yeah, it's crazy!  I'm doing P90x and limiting myself to 1000 cals per day...what else do I need to do??

It's because you weigh so much less now, that the same activities are burning far fewer calories.  As my doctor told me, "There are benefits to being overweight.  One of them is burning more calories per day."

It sucks.  I'm struggling with the last 8lbs.  We've got to hang in there!

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't go so low with your calories. Such extremes could mess with your metabolism later.

Do you change up your exercise routine regularly? I've heard a few times that your body "gets used" to a type of workout if it's done a lot in a time period and that changing it up can keep your metabolism responding the way it should after your workouts.

Btw, is that you currently in your pic? If so, I don't see what you need to lose, you look great!

i've heard good things about intense interval training programs

from what i understand, it's a combination of mixing up exercises so your body doesn't get comfortable and keps burning

and also it is so intense that hours after you're finished your body is burning calories trying to recover

1,000 calories a day? That is your problem. Why would you do that?

Increase your calories right away. Eat clean/balanced. You will make yourself sick and stall your weight loss efforts. Don't go for empty calories. Eat whole nutritious foods, plan your meals and snacks. Think of your body like a machine and put good stuff in to get good out. Can a car run with no gas? No, just like a person cannot run without proper fuel. Your body is hanging on to every ounce of fat it can because you are starving it. Many people make the mistake of eating very low calorie foods, sugar free, fat free, diet foods. Wrong!

Fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, complex carbs, lean meats and dairy, good fats. Don't drink your calories, drink plenty of water.

Stop starving for a start.....   Chronic malnutrition and severe energy deprivation is not a healthy way to live and, as you're finding out, no guarantee of weight-loss either.

I'd suggest looking at your target weight and being honest about whether that 'last 10lbs' is a reasonable objective.   If you can't get there healthily and safely, chances are that it's not.
