I just joined CC but this is my last 5lbs until I reach my pre-university weight!
Anybody else tackling the last 5?
I'm not sure how much more fat I need to burn. I am looking to drop 5 lbs to see how I look after that. Depending on results, I may need to lose more.
I'm down to my last 6, does that still count? I started at 156 and am now down to 126, which is farther than I intended to go when I started but as I reach each goal, I see that I can still stand to lose some more fat. So for now my goal is 120 and I will re-evaluate at that point. Then I am going to tackle building some muscle to keep it off, hehe
I'm maintaining, but I have 5 pounds I need to lose from a month of slacking on calorie counting.
So I'm with ya! Lost 1 over the week, so I have 4 to go :)

YES i am also in the home stretch, i just need 4 more until i hit 130! so hard to stay focused but i don't want to throw all my hard work away. i had a family reunion on the weekend and GORGED, today is a "get back on track..." day!
6 more! 5.5 yesterday, but i seem to be fluctuating today. i too am hoping to lose this last 5/6 before college. i move in aug 13. so that's my goal! should we have weigh-in days?
I too have those last 5-6 lbs. I find myself thinking it still won't be enough but I know I need to be more commited to toning my thighs and stomach. I'm in for weekly weigh-ins!

Pheww. Drinking up on the water, destressing by taking a bath, and getting plenty of rest is helping.
i need like 6/7 until i reach my summer goal (but then another 10 after that by october).....i have like 4 weeks to lose it---it's really hard but i'm trying!!
I am on the last 5 stretch too! It seems to be the hardest of them all! But we can do it!!!!

asharose~ Have you ever tried zig-zagging your calories?? It may help get it moving again. Just a thought.
I'm in the same boat as you! My goal was to lose 10 lbs and I have 5 more to go. People eventually reach a plateau and you are on one. Try doubling up your workout to 2 times a day and REALLY watching what you eat. Keep it a safe 1500 calories per day and you should definately see results! Hope I helped!
i hit my goal of 120, and then decided to maintain...and accidentally lost a couple...then decided i wanted to be at 115...but.....i am kind of stuck at 118 which is perfectly fine with me. they always say the last 5 pounds is the hardest. and OF COURSE i want them gone but i won't kill myself over it.
if you really need to lose them though, i would recommend just upping your workouts like cbutters09 said.
I have 3 kg about 6 something pounds, but that damn scale keeps going down then up then down then up. My body does not want to give up those last few kg.

what time of day do you guys weigh yourself? i find in the early am (when i first get out of bed) i might be as much as 4-5 pounds lighter than in the evening! which one is right??
I weigh myself every afternoon after my workout, I do it the same time every day, so I guess it does not matter when you take it as long as you do not take it in the morning one day and at night the next day.
is it normai to flucuate that much throughout the course of a day?
