I have been struggling to lose 4-6 pounds for the last YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My body is so used to being 150 - that it absolutely REFUSES to lose the last 5 pounds so I can hit my goal weight. I have gotten frustrated to the point of just shrugging it off and telling myself that no matter what I do - its not gonna work, and that 150 is just the lowest my body will physically let me get to.
However - I am sincerely not happy at 150. I would SO love to be in the 140's which I hit (148-149) every one in a while when I am being good. It's those damn weekends, and the damn cocktails out at business dinners. I can't seem to focus or achieve getting rid of these last few pounds. Any encouragement would be helpful! And also, I would like to hear your story as well =)
welcome aboard jessf731! our first weigh-in will be on monday. don't worry, we'll motivate eachother to finally reach our goal weight :) i hate being on a plateau.. grr.
I've been fooling around for over a year. I've even gained and then lost about 5 in that time too, still leaving me with the ~5-7 before I'm really at my goal. I don't really think of it as a 'plateau' because I don't think I'm consistantly doing what I need to lose it. I know if I'm careful with my diet and exercise moderately I can lose a pound a week. I'm going to log/weigh/measure consistantly too because I know that helps keep me honest with myself.
I'm afraid if I don't get my act together now, I'll gain 5 or more as the holidays come. Getting to my goal and feeling really awesome could be just the inspiration I need to resist all that holiday temptation.
I think the Monday weigh-in is a great idea..although scary! lol! I'll tag this so I'm sure to find it next Monday. I missed weighing in yesterday so I'll make that my start.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
