What would your last meal be?

I came across this page with a list of inmates' final meal requests, and it made me think..

If you had to choose your last meal, what would you ask for?

For me, it would be:

An enormous vegeburger, fries + ketchup, a fruit platter, chocolate cake, a basket of muffins, and an icecream sundae.

Philly cheesesteak from Hooters, curly fries, and an ice cream sandwich.  And apple juice to wash it down.

Katz's Deli pastrami sandwich.  Henry Weinhard's root beer.  A batch of my M&M cookies.  Massive ice cream sundae.  Cool whip.

I was thinking about what I would want when I started clicking on the links detailing the crimes. Not hungry anymore. :(

Double Cheese Pizza with Mushrooms, Onions and Peppers, 20 BBQ'd Chicken Wings, Celery Sticks, Bleu Cheese, Three Diet Dr. Peppers and, for desert, Chocolate Fondue. (Assuming I'm not a prisoner and can HAVE ACCESS to Fondue Forks. If I am, Blueberry Pie)

Um, I'd like a roasted Dodo stuffed with a seasoned Passenger Pigeon. 

No problem, I'll wait.   

I'd ask for the following from Peter Luger's Steakhouse in Brooklyn

1 Order of Steak for Two, rare

plus.. Order of bacon,1 Order of Creamed spinach, potatoes, and a nice merlot.

Pecan pie w whipped cream

I know I probably wouldn't be able to eat it all, but I'd really relish trying!

Good thing, I can have this (in moderation) without a death sentence.

Boy,  that's a weird post...but thought provoking...   ummm..??   Maybe sushi.

A bowl of granola or oatmeal with dried fruit, walnuts, and vanilla soymilk.

A toasted peanut butter and banana sandwhich with cinnamon and honey, a glass of milk on the side.

and a mug of chamomile tea.

My mom's fettucine alfredo (she makes it the BEST) with some weiner schnitzel and a glass of merlot, then for dessert some raw chocolate chip cookie dough with a giant glass of milk. Might as well have my last meal be disgustingly and deliciously unhealthy *^_^*

Wow - some of those inmates could sure chow down on a lot of food!!  Don't think I could possibly finish some of those meals even if I was given days!! (maybe that's the point?!)

I think I'd opt for fresh baked bread and butter, with a selection of marinaded herring and a cheese board with trimmings! 

Now I'm hungry :o( !!

Pizza, chicken wings with bleu cheese dressing on the side, strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream, a banana split and a peanut butter and banana sandwich. No way I would be able to eat all of that, but I would surely taste a bit of everything. Haha.

A chinese food buffet, no doubt about it.

um, it depends, is it my last meal with family and friends and i'll die peacefully in my sleep?  or are you going to put me in the chair?  if it's the chair, then i just want a lot of whiskey...nothing else.

Enchiladas mineras, a tamale, a small bown of pasta siena, pumpkin pie with whipped cream and a top shelf margarita with only fresh squeezed lime juice; no salt.

One of my favorite meals in bacon cheeseburger with fries.  I've been staying away from that sort of food for a while now, so I actually treated myself to a bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms today.  I was a little disappointed.  I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would and I just ate over 1000 cal in one sitting.  :(

Off topic, but america's prison system is horrible. 

There was a prisoner who wanted his last meal to go to a homeless peron, but the state said they couldn't go through with that....

Given that most executions take place in the very early morning I guess I would request breakfast food.  Three bowls of oatmeal cooked for 75 seconds in a mircowave at sealevel.  One with cinnamon, the other with brown sugar and butter, and the last with chocolate, peanut butter and granola with a liter of 47 degree water and two cans of coke zero all served with a metal spoon, one paper napkin, a bouquet of lilacs and something to read while I eat.

...just kidding. I know that in a lot of states you have a 15 dollar limit for your last meal and it has to be acquired locally, what a jip.

BUT, if it's my last meal, like, not being killed by the lethal injection or whatever...I am torn between a few meals:

1:
Baked salmon
red beans and rice
as many baked potatoes as I want
a side of a whole roll of sugar cookie dough

2.
Chow mein
a whole bunch of shrimp
8 bean salad (black, kidney, pinto, garbanzo, adzuki, white, pink, butter)
a BIIG Strawberry milkshake
as many gummy candies I can eat

3.
as many bowls of Cinnamon Toast crunch, Yogurt cheerios, Captain Crunch, Cocoa pebbles, Frosted flakes, rice, wheat and corn chex as I can feasibly eat skim milk
a big tall glass of pink lemonade.

Nah its not really off topic. That is kinda terrible.

It makes me think that there must be some kind of set menu that they have to choose from with this food, because a LOT of people ordered cheeseburgers, fried chicken and chicken fried steak.. but maybe thats just because theyre popular, or its america.
