What would your last meal be?

I came across this page with a list of inmates' final meal requests, and it made me think..
If you had to choose your last meal, what would you ask for?

Off topic, but america's prison system is horrible.
There was a prisoner who wanted his last meal to go to a homeless peron, but the state said they couldn't go through with that....
Given that most executions take place in the very early morning I guess I would request breakfast food. Three bowls of oatmeal cooked for 75 seconds in a mircowave at sealevel. One with cinnamon, the other with brown sugar and butter, and the last with chocolate, peanut butter and granola with a liter of 47 degree water and two cans of coke zero all served with a metal spoon, one paper napkin, a bouquet of lilacs and something to read while I eat.
I'm an idiot...i mis-read your first line...TWICE and thought it said an inmate wanted his last meal to BE a homeless person...
My last meal would involve everything i can't eat....and a stack of hefty painkillers with a bottle of decent white wine.
Shrimp cocktail appetizer, baby greens salad w/balsamic vinaigrette dressing, 2 inch thick porterhouse rare, huge baked potato w/butter & sour cream & chives, lots of extra sour cream, fresh steam asparagus w/hollandaise sauce, many whole grain rolls w/real sweet cream butter, and for desert a huge piece of cheesecake from the cheesecake factory one of the fancy decadent chocolate flavors.
What a cool thread and link. this guy really got me, I wonder what was going through his mind:
Same meal that is served to all other offenders in
the main dining room
6 lobsters and a bowl full of butter.
Case of beer
No veggies
Whats so sad about it is there are a lot of young guys there!
Indian curry with all the trimmings!
sex with every guy of my choice :)!
bottle of sleeping pills, 2 bottles of wine!
3 really fluffy pancakes with strawberry jam ;)
for my last meal, i think i'd just eat some of my favorite sources of sugar:
- cotton candy blizzard from dairyqueen
- cookies
- peanut m&ms
- a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
- a peanut butter and nutella sandwich
- smores
- etc
Oh man, a philly cheese steak from Steve's. Multiple ones, actually. & peanut butter. & milano cookies.
All of my vices =] haha
center cut pork chops and steamed shrimp
sweet potato wedges
broccolli with cheese
bowl of grilled onions and ketchup
haha this sounds so good to me... my bday is in 3 weeks... might have it
I feel like all of my food choices together are a weird mix, but I would try to eat:
A Frisco Melt from Steak and Shake (maybe 2)
A white sheet cake with extra butter cream frosting
Cake Batter Ice Cream with extra sprinkles in a sprinkle covered waffle cone
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pumpkin Pie
Pecan Pie
Rice Pudding
Granola with extra raisins and Soy Milk
Some sort of Iced Coffee drink with whipped cream
Diet Coke
Seeing as I have type 1 Diabetes, I would probably pass out in a sugar coma before they got me with the lethal injection, that is if I didn't explode first! :)

I thought the same exact thing.
^ maybe he wanted to pretend it was just like any other day... i can't speak for the people who are actually on death row, but to me the idea of knowing the day and possibly time which you are going to die is REALLY terrifying, one way to deal with that for me would be to pretend nothing out the ordinary was happening, If i ate what everyone else ate thats just another mundane thing that might make it seem like another mundane day... not the last day you'll ever be alive.... but thats another topic
Sushi (spicy tuna or salmon roll for preference), mango, hot green tea, a ripe tomato, fresh basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a piece of good crusty bread, good chocolate, and a glass of sweet red wine. Oh, and maybe some goat cheese.

It makes me think that there must be some kind of set menu that they have to choose from with this food, because a LOT of people ordered cheeseburgers, fried chicken and chicken fried steak.. but maybe thats just because theyre popular, or its america.
Yeah, but you notice that the choices are healthier as the years go earlier. I'm not sure what that means though - maybe the prison just had healthier food available before and now it's easier in general just to have a fast food menu available. Or it could be mirroring America's spiraling trend toward obesity. Who knows?
For me it would be seafood/sushi, baked goods, some fresh fruit, and a very bittersweet bar of chocolate =]
I'll second that "drowning in whiskey" statement (drowning emphasis mine)... but before the whiskey, I'll take a bottle of 2000 Margaux. This is assuming I won't hit the gas chambers before 2010...
Hmm.
A bloomin' onion from Outback to start. Chicago Classic from Unos. And a bison burger with cheddar aged for 10 years. Crayfish and chopped chicken cutlets over endless linguine with a light alfredo sauce and LOTS of parmesan. A really malty chocolate malt with unlimited refills. For desert, a cheesecake and several bowls of Count Chocula. And Cadbury Creme Eggs and York Peppermint Patties and peanut brittle and fudge.
About a weeks worth of calories in one meal. If I could stomach it all.
And why bother eating healthy if it's your last meal?

I was thinking about what I would want when I started clicking on the links detailing the crimes. Not hungry anymore. :(
Same :(
my moms cinninati chili with lettuce, onions, and kidney beans on top with some garlic bread and probably a strawberry banana smoothie alongside
umm my mom's matzah ball soup, chicken tenders with honey mustard to dip them in, cheese fries, cream soda, chocolate babka and half baked ice cream...yum
