The last ten pounds!
I don't know about you but I haven't been able to get back on track since the holidays. I have gained 7-8 lbs since November and am barely squeezing into my clothes. I need to get back on track and need some motivation.
A little about me, I have been on a weight loss journey for about three years now. At my heaviest, I weighed 260 lbs. I am now down to 170, but I was 161 at my lowest. I never had the desire to be super skinny, just healthy. Weighing in at 160 put me in the healthy BMI range and fitting back comfortably into my size 8 jeans, that were my goal from the very beginning (I used to wear a size 20 and I wanted to be a single digit size!).
So this is what I'm proposing, a weekly weigh in and motivation for others. I don't care if you need to lose 10 lbs or 100 lbs, lets help each other out. Weekly weigh ins would be held on Wednesday. Anybody in?
I know exactly what you mean. I've been standing still for the last 6 months. Even with all the exercise/diet, I haven't been able to lose a pound.
But you got to be in it, to lose it! :D

I'm in! After Christmas and those sweets I've been overeating and binging on the most unhealthy foods (and I mean way more than just an extra cookie or two. Gah). I've put on about 10 pounds (give or take) and would love to lose at least 7 of those.

Hi everyone, well today I officially started my diet after a weekend of bingeing (I know, I know). I didn't weight myself today because honesly I'm scared of the number and wanted to get a couple days of good diet and exercise behind my belt. I fear that my last ten lbs has quickly turned into my last fifteen lbs. I guess we'll have to wait and see. See you on Wednesday for the weigh in.

I started CC in September 08 and lost 8lbs and then after Christmas...due to eating everything! I gained it all back..so I'm back to where I started. :( I've lost 3lbs since coming back from Christmas vacation though..so losing the last 10lbs (maybe 15) would be excellent. And I do lack motivation sometimes so hopefully if I feel accountable and have to weigh in weekly it'll do the trick!

I'm in. I recently started college and yes...the dredded freshman 15 have not just hit me, but trampled me. BUT I'm feeling very optimistic because I have started going to my school's gym [I just got done with day 3 today, yayy! :)] and am liking how I'm feeling so far. My only concern is because I'm either in class or working, I never can find the time to eat! I know not eating enough is bad and then after working out I'm usually STARVING. Also, college isn't the healthiest place on earth to eat, with all the tempting candies and snacks for the "late night" studiers.
But like I said, count me in.

Hi everyone- so here is my official information for the first weigh in. I did start my diet and exercise on Monday. I'm not drastically cutting my calories, I'm sticking between 1200-1500 because I don't mind if I lose the weight slowly.
Jencalbear- Yes, the dreaded freshman fifteen. Mine was more like the freshman 25, lol. At least you're doing something about it. I know its hard but the thing that works the best for me is planning my meals. I always have smart snacks (i.e. dried fruit, nuts, healthy granola bars) in my purse. You really have to avoid temptation.
Starting Weight- 170.2
Goal Weight- 155-160 by May

Sorry I missed last week's weigh-in, college had me swamped with work. SO, I sorta weight myself early, as in today. I just couldn't wait! I was too excited lol. And I'm proud to say that I lost 5.4 lbs last week!!! SO, I am now a believer in all things healthy, and am on my way to becoming a certified gym junkie :)

but the thing is i was actually 134 last week (not 131 as I had originally put here and I had thought all along because my scale gave me the wrong reading). So in actuality I've dropped 3 lbs which is good news I guess...even though it turned out that I was mistaken about my original weight..... So here's hoping that next week I'll be in the 120's ![]()

Ok I missed the weigh in last week. Work has been crazy, i'm in the middle of applying for grad school, and I've been having some family issues. I will admit that I have been eating so bad and not exercising. I started my real diet and exercise plan on Monday. I've been doing good, though I will admit it is really hard eating grilled chicken and vegatables when my boyfriend is eating fried pork chops and macaroni and cheese!
Last weigh in- 170.2
This week- 171 :( but for two weeks of binging I guess it's not so bad
Goal weight- 155-160
