So recently I gained about 5 lbs andhave been able to lose 2 lbs. But nnow that I have the last three to go it's getting really hard! I wanna do it the right way and NOT starve myself but I just keep gaining and losinf the same 1 lb. I was able to lose weight before and keep it off now tho it just seems much harder!

Congrats tani!  You seem really happy at your weight right now.  and the cardio you get from running must be really good.

I used to run but i researched that the bad point of running is it makes you sag.  Im carrying a 34C  (full C)and when i work out I have a regular bra inside my sports bra. Sometimes my top is even with the built in bra.  so its like wearing 3 bras.  It still feel it going east and west, north and south...argggh....

But of all cardios, running is still the best weight buster.

what is your height again?

Ooh..im back to the 3lbs club after that bloody fried mozarella incident the other night.

The last 3 lbs are so crucial huh?  Im in the same case.  Now no more butter, cheese and nuts until the vanity weight.

What are your plans on how to lose the last 3 lbs?

On Monday, I will start doing after 7 diet. Ill have to eat dinner at 630 the most.

My pilates instructor is off island.  I plan to play tennis and do Vinyasa yoga in replacement. 5x a week.

 

hey, Im 168cm.  I think thats 5'6 or 5'7.  I weighed again today and it was again 55/120 so yay.  I am happy with those numbers, now would like to tone up the numerous wobbly and flabby bits.

As for running and sagging, well, before pregnancy I was a 32D.  During pregnancy I went up to an E.  Newly breastfeeding, I could not fit my E's.  After breastfeedng for a year, I now am a 32 B.  IMAGINE what that amount of stretchng does to a girls bosom.  Running is the least of my worries there.

Fried Mozzerella sounds amazing.

I think im in danger of a splurge today.  Feeling cocky with my weigh ins and going to a bbq.  also had fight with hubby and havnt got drunk in like nearly 6 months.  that makes me sound like a recovering alcaholic, not at all but occassionally its fun you know.  Im investing in a decent bottle of wine tonight and will deal with the remorse tomorow.

wow, youre vital statisics are awesome.  i want to be a 34 C (meduim cup).  its so annoying carrying it around.  plus you have a kid.  amazing keeping the weight!  Actually, having kids is not an excuse of gaining weight.

okay, so now I remember why I dont drink.  I survived the night with minimal calorie overload, its the next day, tired hungover and precious that I just dont seem to care about counting calories!  So indeed I had a relaxed weekend (not a binge or anything, just ike 300 cals over each day) however you better believe it that weigh in Monday morning was not as pretty as Fridays.

So, I knew that reaching goal weight was not stable, but its a start, at least im grazing those numbers.  back into clean eating this week. 

I should write a cookbook, I am awesome at budget, low fat vegetarian cooking.  Only on one salary, I am getting really good at making the groceries stretch longer and longer, and doing it low fat and vegetarian.  I spent all yesterday making lasangas, muslie, granola bars and spagetti to freeze and put in tins.  Also made a really recipie for mushroom pecan burgers if anyone interested.  Thats my favorite thing about this site, I can make up recipies, type them in and get the stats on them!!

having a kid does make it harder to lose weight.  Especially the more you have and the older you are.  I am young and only have one so my challenges wernt too bad. but your right, everyone has challenges and if your determined you can do it.  One thing I have found is not matter how little fat i have and how tight my abs are, the little pooch below my bellybutton still sticks out.  Oh well, i have a little girl for it.

Geez I write too much once I get started?! Sorry!  Anyways, meant to just say, Im back on the train with you guys!

Hows the newfound determination going?

As indicated in my intro, I want to drop 4 pounds from 112 to 108. What I'm finding difficult is that my weight fluctuates so much: last week I was at goal for about a second, and then back up to starting weight the next day! Well, I think I have actually lost two pounds/1 kilogram now, because I weighed myself last night after supper and the scale was just marginally over 50 kilograms. So yay! (I think). If this is the case, I'm quite impressed because my weekend calorie consumption was 1800 and 2100 on Saturday and Sunday respectively. I don't count calories on the weekend itself, just try update from memory when I come back to work, and I try not to be too hard on myself and extra-restrictive. Funny thing is that I usually weigh less on a Monday than a Friday, despite seemingly eating more. Wierd.

As an aside, I'm finding I am getting up to the 1200 calorie mark really quickly by counting tea and coffee (70 calories each). But who gets fat on tea and coffee, for pete's sake? Tongue out

I'm completely frustrated also. I haven't lost any weight in 3 months. My goal was to lose 10 lbs before summer. I completely changed my diet, sticking to this meal plan and daily exercise for the past 12 weeks. The scale fluctuates only a half pound either way. I've given up on the diet and I eat junk food on the weekends (summer barbeques), since the scale doesn't move anyway.

Argh! Weighed myself yesterday and back up to SW of 112! I am so demotivated now!

yep this is very frustrating all!!! I lost 1lb but now I have gained it back! :P

I was 117 now im coasting at 118.8. Gah and tommorow I'm to go to California for twoo weeks...I just hope to return at 118 lbs. I mean giong on vacation to me kinda changes the game. It's gonna be just a bt more difficult because I know I'll be having to eat out more. How have you guys managed to maintain on vacation? I mean should I even bother trying?

Last time I weighed at the gym (night before last), my weight was up 1 and 1/2 pounds to 113.5! Please hold thumbs for me that tonight it's down again...else this all so very futile Cry
