Late night snacks

I work shifts so some days I need a snack I can eat late, maybe 2- 3 hours before going to bed.  I know I shouldn't have any carbs, but does anyone have any suggestions for me? Something quick and simple.

On weekends I broil a whole bunch of skinless chicken pieces and freeze them in 3 oz portions. Maybe you can try that.

I have never heard that you shouldn't have carbs b/4 going to sleep.

Maybe I heard that from a fad diet, which I am not doing.  I just thought because I'm not doing anything at that time of the day, I won't work any of it off.
hmm, no expert... but I'm pretty sure if yuo wanted to have a snack as carbs later at night it wont hurt you in the long run since its been decided a calorie is a calorie and it doesnt matter when you eat them.  I think the only thing that might effect your weight the next morning would be if you were eating the carbs that make you retain water.

.... I think. lol
