Late Period - Negative Test
Mid July I took Norethisterone to delay my period by 2 weeks while I was on holiday, all was fine, I finished taking them, had my period, all normal.
That was 6 weeks ago. I haven't come on again since. I've had some of the usual cramping, I've felt like I was coming on (you know when you just know that familar feeling), but nothing.
None of the common signs of pregnancy and test was negative a few days ago, if I were pregnant I'd be about 4 weeks now so should show up I guess. I have been a bit stressed recently but this isn't helping!!
Any clues?
Sometimes it takes a while for your hormones to balance themselves out when you disrupt them artificially. Wait two more weeks--if it still hasn't shown up, I recommend taking another pregnancy test and/or talk to your physician.
mine was thrown way off when I started losing weight. your body has to adjust to a lot of different things...
O my god, i saw this post on the overview forum and i was like it cant be. Im going through the exact same thing, well, with some different details. I took Plan B and had a very short period a week after I took it, as off now it's been 4 weeks and no period yet. I got some cramping a week ago but no period. i took an ept and it was negative a few weeks ago so im going to take another one tomorrow. If it still negative, then ill just blame my hormones for the change. Good luck to you. Let me know what the outcome is.

after taking plan b i once went two months without a period. it really messes with your system.
Norethisterone? what is that and how do you get it? I was just thinking maybe I'll tell my soon to be sister in law about it b.c shes thinking about getting pregnant b4 the wedding which is in about 2 months so she doesnt get her period. I dont want her pregnant yet b.c its just going to ruin the bachlorette party plans.
if you're looking for a natural way to help your period along, try making some parsley tea. Fresh parsley is best, but the dried flakes that you use for seasoning works fine as well. You only need about 1 tsp per 8 oz. of water.
I'm not sure if this will work with the hormonal changes due to Norethisterone, but drinking a few cups of this has helped me before, and with a little honey, it actually tastes rather good.
best of luck
