The time is now! Let's freaking DO THIS :B!!
MY JOURNEY:
Stats: Male, 18 yrs, 5'11''
Starting: 237 lbs. Current: 174 lbs.
Goal Weight: 165 lbs.
Yeah, I'm 18 and I'm looking to lose about 8 more pounds. Though these 8 pounds are difficult for some reason because I'm sick of eating healthy.
I've lost 22.6 already.
Hi,
I'm a college student (21). I went from 147 to 117, but then I stopped counting for a long time (about a year!!). Now I am back up to about 131. Not as bad as before. I am hoping to lose 11 pounds and get to 120. Then I will focus on the last 5 and get to 115. I'm 5 foot 1.
For me the best way to lose is to have the rule that I ALWAYS log EVERY calorie. It doesn't even take that much time.
Good luck to you guys!
Hi!
I'm 17 and a senior in highschool. I started at 190 and am now at 158. I'm 5'9 and have a medium body frame, and am trying to get to 150. I have become obsessed with eating healthy, and I count every calorie that I eat. Over the summer, I burned out on working out. I literally went crazy, working out like 2 hours a day. Now I workout twice a week, I find that I eat less when I don't workout, and lose weight easier that way. Anyways, Good luck to everyone:D
Hiya~!
I'm just 19 and I'm a 2nd year student on a break; therefore I currently don't go to school, but I'm taking a year off to see what I truly want to study.
I currently work as a cook at a restaurant, and I'm a vegetarian. I'm also lactose intolerant and I also have some food sensitives to wheat and certain grains. My job seems kind of ironic, but I like to cook (plus retail isn't my forte).
I have a medium body frame, and I currently weight 115lbs. I'm 5'4 and I would love to be back to my original weight of 105.
I'm trying to learn portion control since I have a bad case of portion distortion. Anyhoo, good luck to everyone too. :)

http://www.bcm.edu/cnrc/bodycomp/bmiz2.html Check your stats through this chart. You're already extremely thin with a BMI of 19.8 and you should not be planning further weight-loss. Your target weight would mean you were clinically underweight and that would mean your body was sick. It may have been your original weight when you were a child but it would not be healthy for a woman to be that thin.

Hello! Nice to meet everyone!
My name is Lauren, 19 years old. I'm in a music ed program, hoping to teach elementary some day. After my first semester freshman year, I realized that if I wanted to be energetic (and not huffing and puffing) in the classroom, I had to lose the weight! I started January 5, 2009 at 208 lbs. My last weigh in was 154, but I haven't weighed in about a month and I know that I am much less now. I will be going home this weekend so we'll see!!
I also have a blog if you are interested: www.discoveringlauren.blogspot.com
Hello everyone! I'm 19 and started college a little over two years ago. I managed to pack on 50 pounds during the summer before and my first couple years. Half way through my second year i decided it had to stop. I was shocked to find out i had gone over 180 pounds, the highest i'd been in my life, and that i was so out of shape i was out of breath just climbing the stairs to my house. Since then i've lost 40.8 pounds, and have 10.6 to go to reach my goal of 130. I'm 5'4" by the way.
Good luck all of you, and i'd love to talk with you through our weight loss journeys!
Hi!
I'm 19, I'm 6', f, and looking to lose 10-15 lbs more. Currently 170.
As much as I was afraid of it, I'd packed on the freshman 15 to the letter, in addition to 2 yrs of binging and bad habits that had packed on 10-15. I got the freshman 15 off, now the 15 or so more I'm still working on!
People say I don't need to lose anymore, but I'm always getting aches and pains. It feels like my body's saying I'm too heavy XD
I'm Monkey :)
Just starting my second year of university
I'm 19, Female, 5'4" and weigh 146lbs and am looking to get down to about 120lbs.
Getting there, slowly and steadily.
I am a sophomore this year in college, and this past summer break I started working out and lost about twenty pounds. I started at 183 and now weigh 160. My goal weight is 115 to 120 and I am 5'3
I actually stopped exercising and calorie counting for 6 MONTHS!!
I'm getting back on track, and I've lost about 2 lbs. this week! This time, no more taking long breaks. This is my life. I have to finish what I started and lose the rest of the weight! Can't wait to finally be who I want to be. :)

Well, that's an inspiring quote if ever I read one :)
lol, why thank you Monkey. :P
So...how is everyone doing at the moment.
Me, I'm ok but talk about killer cravings! I don't remember the last time I had it this bad. If it's high in calories and fat, I want it :( I'm holding out so far - sitting here with a mug of Options hot chocolate but damn...
Well my best friends mom went to a nutritionist, and her doctor told her if your craving something you should go ahead and it. Because when you push that craving away, it will come back and that is when you will over eat and that will be worse then if you would have just ate that item in the first place. Its all about portion control for the most part, is what i have noticed.

This is the part I'm working on cos I'm not very good at it. If I start eating something, I'm afraid I won't be able to stop...:(
The other thing is that, being a student, I try not to buy these things because processed stuff tends to be more expensive. All about the fresh fruits and veggies for me really. Then when the cravings hit, it seems better because I don't have the foods available for me to eat anyway.
I've just had some frozen grapes and cherries and that seems to have hit the craving for now...
Im a 21 year old, junior in college. I lost around 25 lbs my freshman year, going from 140 --> 115. I am now at 124. I want to get back to 115. I loved being that thin, I was also very healthy. anyways, im 5'4.
I'm 17, I want to lose about another 10-15 pounds. I started at 167 and last time I checked, I was at 148, I may have jumped back up to 150...
I took a break for a while because of school, but I'm starting to get back on track and lose the last poundage.
It's really hard to find time to exercise with school and homework... And by the time I get home I am so tired from the day (I get up at 5:30), but I just have to stay determined and tell myself every day that if I don't do something, I'm never going to get where I want to be.
Where can I see 1/8th or 1/6th of a pie or angel food cake?
This is the best way to picture a portion of pie or cake: Draw a circle to represent the circumference of the cake or pie (9" pie? 10" cake?... Read more
