Subject: Test On A Job Application
&nb sp; Read all the way to the end - this may NOT be just what it
&nb sp; seems ...
&nb sp; Subject:
&nb sp; A Question to Ponder
&nb sp; You are driving down the road in your car on a wild,
&nb sp; stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see
&nb sp; three people waiting for the bus:
&nb sp; 1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
&nb sp; 2. An old friend who once saved your life.
&nb sp; 3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.
&nb sp; Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing
&nb sp; that there could only be one passenger in your car.
&nb sp; Think before you answer.
&nb sp; AND your answer is?
&nb sp; Now - continue reading ...
&nb sp; This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as
&nb sp; part of a job
&nb sp; application.
&nb sp; 1.You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die,
&nb sp; and thus you
&nb sp; should save her first.
&nb sp; 2. Or ... you could take the old friend because he once
&nb sp; saved your life,
&nb sp; and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.
&nb sp; 3. Or ... you may never be able to find your perfect mate
&nb sp; again.
&nb sp; The answer? The candidate who was hired (out of 200
&nb sp; applicants) had no
&nb sp; trouble coming up with his answer. He simply answered:
&nb sp; "I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take
&nb sp; the lady to the
&nb sp; hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the
&nb sp; partner of my
&nb sp; dreams."
&nb sp; Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn
&nb sp; thought
&nb sp; limitations. Never forget to "Think outside of the Box."
&nb sp; HOWEVER...........
&nb sp; The correct answer is to run the old lady over and put her out
&nb sp; of her
&nb sp; misery, have sex with the perfect
&nb sp; partner on the hood of the car, then drive off with the old
&nb sp; friend for a few
&nb sp; beers.
&nb sp; God, I just love happy endings!
