Everywhere I go, people are talking about how amazing and wonderful this stuff is... am I the only one who finds it horribly nasty?
Have you tried the flavoured ones? I expect the 'swiss' one would be pretty horrible, but the french onion one tastes like french onion dip...
I really like all of them. The swiss one tastes like cream cheese to me. The garlic and the onion are also good ones, especially on celery or a tortilla.
i wouldn't say "horribly nasty" but i don't like the flavor. not that i've tried them all, but after a few i decided it wasn't worth the $ or effort. ![]()
Hmm! They are not that great, but then again I am not the world's biggest fan of Cheese.
I like the garlic herb one on my ham sandwich sometimes. They're not fantastic, but they are cheese. The swiss one reminds me of cheese wiz. In fact they all do, but they work in some things.
I don't like regular Swiss cheese, so I haven't tried the Laughing Cow regular, but I've found the garlic & herb flavor palatable, esp. on Kashi crackers (Original 7 Grain, yummy crackers, those things get me into trouble!).
Considering how "bad" most cheese is (fat/calorie-wise), I'm willing to put up with lower-quality taste in exchange for only 35 calories.
Edit: they do sketch me out a little, though, because they aren't refrigerated. I keep mine in the fridge anyway.

Strangely enough, at Costco they sell Laughing Cow cheese wedges in packs of four and they keep them in the refrigerated area.
I like the taste of Laughing Cow cheese and find it to be more convenient than having to portion out cream cheese.
I don't like them on anything but a Thomas's 100 Calorie Bagel. It makes me feel like I'm eating Cream chesse :)
