First of all, im 5'1

starting weight/high weight 128

current weight 110

low weight 106 (couple of weeks ago)

About 8 months ago, i bought a bike and started riding a lot and watching what i was eating and i went from 128 to about 115 and then i began to count calories and go to the gym, and since then (id say 3 months) ive gotten down to 110, at times its 107 to 109, but the majority of the time the scale will not get away from 110, and i dont know why. what am i doing wrong? its been a bit over a month and i cant get away from stupid 110 pounds :( help please!

Maybe your body is trying to tell you something. I know that you are 5'1" tall but maybe you are at a good weight for your own body.  According to the BMI tool you are on the edge of being underweight, even for your height.

Take care

Diana

listen to didason, if it's hard for you to get below 110, maybe that's your healthy weight and you should ditch the scales. besides, it is a perfectly desirable weight to be at, focus on the functionality of your body rather than the number on the scale, you will be much happier that way! :)

im 5'2 and i get stuck at 110 too. im hoping that the summer will help, i always lose in the summer i feel. i wouldn't worry too much about losing though, we're at very healthy weights, and you exercise so a muscular 110 looks like 105ish. sure, everyone would like to lose a few vanity lbs but i wouldnt stress over them. i can eat alot and maintain at 110 so sometimes i think its just like, oh i can have ice cream i stay at 110 anyway, which is probably what keeps me at 110 haha but oh well i am happy!

At 110 your BMI is 20.8  and 19 puts you in the underweight range.  Stop trying to lose and enjoy maintaining!  If you have areas of your body that still need TONING, ignore the scale and try taking up yoga or pilates as well as weight lifting.  At 128 you were still within the healthy weight range for your height.  Be careful before you deve lop dangerous habits.

As another 5'1"er, I agree with the others.  110 is a great weight for you!

Focus more on toning your body instead of the number on the scale.  Do some strength/weight training for definition and you'll love your body more :)

stop trying to make your body reach a weight it doesn't want to reach. if you can't get under 110 lbs and maintain it easily, then it's not a good weight for you.

yes listen to your body///  if your eating a balanced diet...fell good...sleep well then you are fine at 110lbs.

However if you feel it should be lower..maybe consider cleansing the colon. I found the natural colon cleanse worked for me as I am heading to my ideal weight of 167.  I was 202 in Jan 09 and right now I am at 174.  I just do a 5 day cleanse each month or when I hit a plateau   Eat only raw veggies, with grains like psyllium husks and flax seed and of course only water.

..it really kick starts my weigh loss and bounces me over those plateaus we hit.

I do not buy the advertised cleanses because they do not give diet instructions..what I found was to do the cleanse properly it has to be natural.

Thanks everyone for the good advice! Guess ill just listen to my body and try my best to tone up!! ( i havent changed anything since i first posted this and the scale is at 107..maybe a little of the weight was sticking around because i was so stressed or something?)
