Like most, I've put on a few pounds over the holidays.  I used this site before my wedding and was able to hit my goal weight.  I'd like to check in here every Monday to weigh in and share ideas.

Height - 5'6

Starting Weight - 144 lbs

Goal Weight - 133 lbs

Hi, my name is Rachael. I don't need to lose much weight either. I'd like to shed about 15 pounds but I know that once I really get into my workouts I end up gaining weight because I put on muscle so easily. So if I don't lose it all but end up toned and in shape, that's okay too.  I am 32, 5'5" and my starting weight was 140. I've just slowly put on weight over the years and then gained a bit having my kids. I have lost 4lbs so far but I think it might just be water weight. We'll see what happens this next week. I'll post my weight here every Monday as well and maybe we can help each other. Good luck to you.

hi!!!

Long time no see! Just wanted to pop in and say hi- I'm still fighting with the same weight I was last year but hope to change that by starting a new exercise program (P90X).

How's married life treating you? :)

I'd like to join this group!

Height - 5'6"

Age - 25

Starting Weight - 130.2 (weight this morning)

Goal Weight - 120

I used this site in 2005/2006 to go from 130ish down to 118ish.  I maintained that weight with a bit of good muscle gain (up to 122ish) from working out with a trainer for all of 2006 and half of 2007, but over 2008 I gradually moved back to 130 from being slack with my diet and exercise routine.  I still hit up the gym and eat healthy most of the time but I know I need to crack down and keep track of my calories and workouts again to lose this ten pounds.  I will check start logging my progress on this thread on Mondays!

Monday weight in:

Starting weight - 140

Current weight - 137.5

I'd like to join in too!  Holidays were bad for me!  Current 118, goal 108. Height 5'2"

Sounds like the right group for me....

Current weight: 145

Goal weight: 130

Height: 5'6"

Added weight from a poor college diet and to much fun ;)

I have just started to revamp my diet and so far so good (4days in) along with some form of exercise at least 30 minutes a day. Anyone know how long it actually takes to see considerable changes?

Best of luck to everyone!

Joy, if you keep a 500-1000 cal deficit (though based on your stats, I wouldn't recommend more than an 800 cal deficit), you can lose 1pd/week (with a daily 500 deficit).

As I'm only looking to drop 7 or so pds, 5 makes a nice difference in the way my clothes fit.

I definitely belong in this group!

I've lost a little over 60 pounds already but i still have about 10 to go!

im 5'6" and weigh around 135
(although i was only 130 before the holidays...)
and my goal is 125.

good luck everyone, we can do this :)

I weigh in on Mondays and have somewhere around 10-15 to lose so I'll join you.  I just started over again last Monday.  I lost 30 pounds on CC between Sept. '06 and March '07 but was a little too low so I started trying to come a little up, then I went back to work and WHAM! here I am again :).

Age:  38

Height:  5' 7"

Re-starting weight:  138.6

Goal maintenance range:  125-128 (I find it better to name a range because you can never be one weight for long and then you feel like you are failing if you go up a pound or two)

Good luck everybody!

Hey Steph!

I didn't think this group worked, I couldn't find it after I posted so I started another one...doh!

^haha, this one seems to be alive and well!

Are you going to get hit by the same snow/freezing rain storm that I did?

id like to join also

Im 5'6 currently 165 my goal is 148....for now Sealed

where is your other group mugzymoo?

may i join this group? I am a chronic yo-yo dieter and got down to 118 last year by overrestricting, only to go back up Frown my goal is a healthy, comfortable weight.

Height: 5'4"

Starting Weight: 137

Goal Weight: 125

I'll get in on this group!

I've been a member of CC for about 2 years now, and have lost around 90 lbs. to this point. While I'm now on the upper end of my healthy weight range, I'd like to be right in the middle, which would put be between 135-140.

In 2008 my loss was VERRRRY slow. I've lost less than 10 lbs since January 08. I'd like to be able to drop the last 10 or so this year and call it done!

This year, I'm also starting a strength training program (New Rules of Lifting for Women), and I'm not sure how that will impact my loss or if I will gain as I build muscle - we'll see! As of now, here are my stats:

Starting Weight: 238

Current Weight: 148

Goal Weight: 135-140

ooonner it's in this forum - i'm the author (kind of the same name) hope you join :)

I kinda lost this group after joining and found it again today!  I am weighing on mondays....what about everyone else?!  Last monday I was 119.7 and I weighed today at 114.8 (I know its only Friday but I've been good all week and couldnt wait til Monday!).  I am sure this is just water weight so I am not recording anything officially until Monday.  I am having trouble getting motivated to start exercising again though--any tips?

Starting Weight (last Monday) - 128.4

Today's Weight - 128.0

Not as much progress as I'd like but 0.4 down is better than nothing!  Good luck to everyone in the group!  Here starts another week...

SW 138.6

1/12   134.8

PL  3.8

GOAL   125-128

I'll take it!  My body always responds quickly like that but now I will have to work for it.
