If you have a similar goals as I, join me in the fight to loosing at least 10 lbs by December 25th. Weigh in every Monday morning and post your successes and struggles. Share what is working for you.Let's do it people. (please, do not promote eating disorders but rather, promote a healthy long term lifestyle.)
Introduce yourself and post your stats. Keep in touch. GOOD LUCK!!!![]()

1 lb is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! You are 1 pound closer to your weight. Good for you!!!! I am so looking forward to 1 pound a week for me. At that pace, we will all be 10 lbs lighter by December 25th. Imagine that??? You'll be 121!!! ![]()
I stepped on the scale this morning, and I am at 129! I can't remember the last time that I weighed 129. Reading everything that all of you have written on here has really helped motivate me... so thank you! Keep working hard ladies and we'll meet our goals :)
OH MY GOODNESS PEANUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!
You see!!!!! Work pays off I tell you. I am sooooo happy for you. I can just imagine how excited you are for yourself. Keep at it girlie. You are my motivation now. I am looking forward to seeing 129 for myself on Monday.
Lets do this!!!!
Hello Everyone!
My name is Stacy. I'm 5'4" and 135lbs. I'm trying to get to 120-125. I am really struggling with this last 10-15 lbs. I have a hard time staying motivated. I'm doing very well this week so hopefully results will keep me going. I have hypothyroidism and take medication for depression so that's kind of how I got up to 135 in the first place. Right now I try to stick to around 1400 calories and I work out at least 5 days a week. I do cardio (stationary bike and powerwalking), weights and sometimes yoga. On paper it works out to 1 to 1.5lbs a week lost which is good enough for me, however in reality my will power fails me a lot and I have a treat here and there and oops there goes my calorie count. I can usually maintain though even with my slip ups. Hopefully your successes will help keep me focused. I would like to hit 125 by the end of the year.
Stacy,
I am about in the same boat as you are with the last 10-15 lbs to lose. My will power also fails me, depending on the week and what I have going on. It is hard to stay motivated when I know I am not fat, just not at my ideal weight that I want to be at. I would love to be able to have a toned body at 125 instead of my marshmallow body at 137:-)
Hi stacy!
Girl, most of us are on the same boat. For some reason, every time I manage to get to 128 (my lowest in almost 3 years) I get sooo happy and BANG!!! I sabotage all I accomplished by celebrating (aka: eating all I want) for about 2 months straight. Hehehehe....no kidding. And then...here we go again with the weight loss attempt. But I have promised myself that this time it will be different.
Stay motivated with us. We are weighing every monday and sharing what works for us and what doesn't. As of right now, only "peanut" is out of the 130's. I might be out of there by monday.
To stay motivate I think of all of you and every person who is currently fighting the good battle. When I think that I have to post my weight every monday for all of you to see, I try even harder to stay on track. Now I have "peanut" as my motivation....I have to reach the 129 by monday (good and healthy competition...jejejeje). And apart from that, I think about how many people I will be able to help with their weight loss goal once I reach mine. Good advice comes from those who have traveled the mile already.
i went on the scale for the first time in 2 weeks today and i was 145 and now i weigh 140!!! I'm sooo psyched!!! i just want to see 30's now and then back to the 20's i was so used to seeing for the last 4 years!
Thanks ladies (? or guys?),
I need motivation for sure. Weighing in on Monday hey? Maybe that will force me to be good on the weekend. I look forward to our successes.

well i don't fit this criteria. im a guy but i was suprised to see how a coalition is forming between you ladies and just wanted to be part of it. i'll make it my goal to loose 10lbs by dec 25 as well. i am 6'0" and weigh 195lb, my goal is 175 and lots of muscle
Hey everyone! Just thought I would drop a line to say hello. I am having a fantastic week. I'm meeting all my goals and working really hard. I got on the scale today, which may or may not be accurate since it's an off cycle weigh in, and it said 134.4lbs. Yay for me!! It's been forever since I saw below 135. It's only half a pound but I will take it since the less weight you have to loseI just have to stick with it.
Chico - Welcome. Good luck with your goals. You will soon learn the inner workings of the female mind LOL.
ssdevine,
That's wonderful!! It always makes the week great when you are reaching your
goals :) I think all of the ladies on here are doing well and doing it healthy. On avg
a healthy amount of weight is 1-3lbs a week. We're all on target!! I'm so proud of us
all. . .
Have a wonderful Thursday Ladies!!!
Happy Thursday everyone!!! How great it is to get in here and see new messages. I get so excited. I know...dumb. But I basically have this site open all the time (during work) so I get to see all you girls' messages and write back. How cool is that?!
SSdevine, way to go girl!!! How exciting. Have you made any changes in your routine?
So girlie's...(an guys, hehehehe), 4 more days til our Monday weigh in. Let's rev up our engines from now til then. 4 days can equal at least half a pound if we try. Let's do this.
so this morning i woke up at 7 and went to the gym with my friend where for two hours we played racket ball, biked, stregnth trained, and went on the elliptical. Ive done this for three consecutive days now and i swear ive never felt better. The morning workout is the healthiest time of day to workout and really gets you in the motivated mindset for the day! ![]()
1lb to 1 1/2 sounds great by Monday. However, I've had a terrible last couple of days with stress and had wine and cookies. I hope that since during the day I did Awesome with my calories I'll still equal 2lbs by Monday. . . Everyone keep up the great work!
Happy Friday tomorrow!
Congrats ssdevine, that's really awesome... its such a great feeling to get below those numbers that we haven't seen for a while.
Aves, go for a good Friday and a great weekend... You can do it!
Good Luck this weekend everyone!
Happy Friday everyone!
I blew my calories yesterday. Not horribly but I will have to be really careful this weekend and try to get in an extra workout or something to make up for it. It's going to be hard though. My sisters will be coming over tonight to hang out. My mom is dying of cancer so we spend a lot of time together to support each other. Hopefully I can stay in control. When they come over it usually equals wine and chocolate ![]()
Albagazebo - wow 2 hours at the gym. Good for you! I'm working on working out for 1 hour consistently. This week I did it though. I don't think I could make it to 2 though.
Well have a wonderful day everyone! In case I don't chat with you all, good luck on the weekend.
