114 lbs down, 16 lbs to go!
So, I have only 16 pounds to go, some people may think this is a lot, and to some it is a lot, but after already losing 114 pounds, 16 seems like nothing at all! I determine at my rate of loss I will be finished by the end of October. You have no idea how exciting this is. I just wanted to share with everyone that once you get closer and closer to your goal, there is no feeling like it, it's so hard to describe. In the beginning, yes, it's hard, probably the hardest thing in the world, for me anyway it was. And I know these are just words, but as hard as it is, it is so beyond worth while to hang in there. I enjoy getting up in the morning and looking forward to a new day. I love doing my make-up and hair and making myself look good. I just love myself so much now and I am crying as I am typing this. I never ever thought in a million years I could do it, no one is as happy as I am right now. I have come so far from being truly obese and being completely addicted to food, it controlled my life. And I'm sorry if I'm coming off as bragging, these are not my intentions, I just want everyone to feel how I feel after having lost weight, and it doesn't matter how much weight it is, it could be 5 pounds! It doesn't matter! There is no feeling greater than loving yourself and having all the confidence in the world, and I finally get to experience it. Thanks to those who read and to this website, I have made some great friends here, and I know it sounds like I'm saying goodbye or something, I'm not, I just wanted to know I truly appreciate this website, I owe my entire weightloss to it! Thank you all! And goodluck on your journeys!

During my weightloss I loved hearing stories about people that lost all this weight, and it kept me motivated, so if I can inspire or motivate anyone even in the least bit, it makes me feel good. Thank you so much for your comment and goodluck!

My goal is to lose 100-110 pounds and get to a weight of 130.
If you have any words of wisdom/experience that you think us girls starting out would find helpful, let us know! You're right that it helps by seeing other people take control over their lives and achieve their goals is great motivation. It really puts things into perspective, because if 'they can achieve it, so can I!'
I hope you have been rewarding yourself along the way with beautiful new clothes! Again, congrats! You're taken inches off, pounds off and I'm sure you've gained a lot more back in confidence, self esteem and purpose!

It's changed overtime, but currently I consume 1500, burn about 2500. I have a personal trainer now, but I only have had her for about a month, before then I did all my own cardio. I have some areas I need to work on though, my gut and arms are pretty flabby so that's why I hired her to tone me up a bit, but the weightloss is all on me. To be honest, I don't focus on anything but calories, people try to complicate eating healthy, by saying things like... you need to have this much protein... and you can't eat this much sugar.. or other carbs... I ONLY look at calories, I don't pay attention to sodium or anything else, I have yet to care about those things, and I've lost a lot of weight. Obviously it's smarter to eat something like an apple, rather than chips, but aslong as I stay at 1500 a day, I allow myself to eat whatever I want, as much fat as I want... cholesterol... whatever, it doesn't matter to me. And doing it this way makes things easy and allows me to eat a lot more of a variety, and I still have been losing 2 pounds per week my entire weightloss.
Thank you for your nice comment!! Anything else you would like to know, please ask!
As everybody else I went to see your before/after picks and I have to say: WOW, it changed you completely! You are very beautiful! Bravo for your weight loss, I can just imagine what type of courage it took you to loose that much weight! Enjoy yourself and your body!!! You really deserve it! Once again congratulations and keep at it, you know you can do it!
You should be tooting your own horn! Look at what you have accomplished! Dance in the streets, sing at the top of your lungs, jump up and down! When you reach that last pound, please let us all know because we all love to hear when one of us has "done it." Thank you for sharing with us and you don't come off as bragging, not at all. Are you kidding? Y'all better look out because the day I reach my goal, everyone this side of the equator is going to hear about it.!   ; Keep up the great work. Be proud of yourself.
MANY Congrats!! Fantastic Job. Do me a favor though do watch your sodium as you are trying to take of the last bit of weight. I think you will find that combined with your skills for calorie counting, you might find you will lose without hitting a plateau. Just a thought.
You did a fantastic thing!!!!
holy ****! that's awesome. congrats.
Hey great job! Just wanted to ask what kind of exercise you incorporated in to your daily routine. Thanks!!
