The worst part is that Im getting married in December, and Im going to look so horrible. PLease give me some support.
thankz!
Hi Nabilah - the good news is that you have plenty of time before your wedding to lose weight. In 4 months you might be able to lose 20-25 lbs with good eating and exercise. So don't panic! I really love the food log here - if you note everything that you have been eating you might really be surprised at how many calories you've been taking in on the "small" stuff. Yesterday alone I had 400 calories extra just from sneaking some Doritos and a few pieces of candy! I am sure you will be absolutely beautiful on your wedding day - just don't give up before you've begun!
Best wishes!
I agree with planb! You need to stay positive--the worst thing you can do right now is give up. Keep working and log your exercise and your caloric intake. If you haven't already done so, you should consult a doctor or perhaps a dietician for assistance and information.
Good luck!
Also, one other thought - if you have been walking a lot then some of your weight gain might be muscle, and not fat. Try taking measurements of your waist, hips and thighs to see if they are getting smaller, regardless of what the scale says. A few years ago when I started working out regularly, I gained 8 lbs and lost 2 inches from my waist - go figure!
