WELL i just went to the GYN today and guess what?! i gained 4 lbs so that makes me an even 200!! i hate my life..i was so depressed i almost started to cry infront of the doctor kind of embarrasing...but anyway my goal for may is that i lose atleast 10 lbs this month...and i hope to be a size down as well

Definitely! I want to exercise every day, and eat withen my calorie limits. I am hoping to be down 10 lbs. by the end of May. :)

I too have always been the fat one, always on a diet- usually either extreme dieting (like meal replacements) or binge eating. I just want to be slim and toned.

I'm 26, 5'7, and weigh 198, my goal weight is 140. My 1st goal is to break into the 180s. I exercise regulary, and try to eat healthy foods but I end up over eating or on a binge about once a week, and undo any good work I've done!

 Hey honey!  I know how depressing that can be, but if it makes you feel better, when I go to the Dr. it's always in the middle of the day and at both my GYN and Gen Phys. they weigh with clothes and shoes on.  Since I always weigh in the morning with nothing on, my weights at Dr. visits are usually anywhere from 7-12 lbs. heavier!  Don't let it get to you! Keep trying to stay active and make healthier food choices! You can do it!

I totally think weekly check ins are a great idea!

Hey Ladies, I'm 37 and a mom of 3 kids.  I've been on CC for a little over a year now and I have just recently entered Onderland!  I've been hovering around 196 for about 4 weeks now and I think I need a little commraderie and support to help me stay focused!

I'd like to join in the group but I'm not sure I can keep up with those of you who are setting out to lose 10lbs in a month...my average is more like 5 (it's taken me 2 years to lose 55lbs) but I'd like my goal to be to reach the 180's in may.  That's only 7lbs, which is still a pretty aggressive goal for me!

Hi everyone, again. I had a rough night tonight. FInals are coming up, and I am doing poorly in 2 classes. This is causing major stress for me, because if I don't pass I will be held back a year. Subsequently I binged tonight and accumulated several thousand excess calories today. Hoping to start fresh tomorrow. I hopee everyone else is doing well!

its not too late and everyone is welcome...bulma im with you...I had the moooost embarassing day of my life yesterday and I had the biggest of amount of chocolate known to man.

Im not on the right track so you guys who actually are please keep the group running:)

Bulma, I so know how you feel.  Although I am LONG out of school my work used to stress me out so much that on my lunch break I'd go out and binge.  It was totally normal to have 4 donughts or 4 slices of pizza for lunch and bring back a bag of chips to crunch on at my desk. 

What i finally figured out is that even though eating made me feel better for a few minutes (while the food was still in my mouth) I felt so much worse afterwards.  Now as hard as it is when I feel the need to binge I either eat lots of air popped popcorn (only 80 cals for 3 cups) or I drink lots of hot decaf chai tea with splenda and nonfat creamer.  I think I had 6 cups the other day.  I also do lots of crunch fresh veggies and light ranch dressing and of course TONS of sugarless gum. 

I also try to make sure there is a little "crunch" in everything I eat to satisfy that urge (for some reason crunching make me feel better).  I love Kashi Crunch cereal.  I add it to yogurt and I found some veggie chips that I eat with my lunch. 

I hope you do well on your tests and that my input helps a little.  Stay strong!

Well girls i am down to 194.8. My SW on march 30 was 201.8, I didnt realize the weight was coming off.. i know that sounds funny but it just seemed like i was losing the same 5 pounds since the start of this but somehow i am down in just over a month. Yay me!!  Seeing a loss finally makes me want to do even better, work harder and eat healthier. (please remind me of this on my bad days... somehow i tend to forget my accomplishments when i am not seeing results on the scale)

Well girls i am down to 194.8. My SW on march 30 was 201.8, I didnt realize the weight was coming off.. i know that sounds funny but it just seemed like i was losing the same 5 pounds since the start of this but somehow i am down in just over a month. Yay me!!  Seeing a loss finally makes me want to do even better, work harder and eat healthier. (please remind me of this on my bad days... somehow i tend to forget my accomplishments when i am not seeing results on the scale)

I am sooo in! I am 21 years young and I am currently 198lbs (lost 10lbs so far!). I just started calorie counting and I average 1200 calories a day and I have been sticking to it pretty well.(mothers day doesn't count right? I don't have kids but I have a mom and she wants Sakura!) My main thing is I have to stop weighing myself everyday, bad habit I know! So the weekly weigh in's will do me good!

Hardest part about losing weight...having a husband that gets the visual results instead of the scale results! He looks like he dropped 15 pounds but he only dropped like 4! lucky bastard!

I didn't weigh myself today... sorry. I need to clean up my act a bit and then I will weigh on Monday, my regular weighing day.

What happened to my dedication of the first week??!! Cry

Well I'm at 188.2, same weight I was this time last week.  Considering I ate like crap over the weekend and skipped my Monday Jazzercise class however, I'm okay with that.

I am really seeing the weight drop now, i dont know why i would have until now.. strange. But i am not going to ask questions. I am glad to see it go!!
