So I am 23,196lbs again (after being from 211 to 175) I would love some buddies!So girls lets lose 55-65lbs (my personal goal is to get to 127-128lbs).
Exercise,food and all can be shared!

Ohhhhh me too...I got on the scale this morning and hopped right back off before the # displayed... I'm not going to get on until I'm fairly confident the #'s dropped and then I'll weigh....So maybe next Thursday for me!
Can I join? I started at 205 and today I weigh 189. I still want to lose 43 lbs to get to my goal. I am 35 and 5'8". I am counting calories and excercising between 5 and 6 nights per week. One day I do a cardio/strenth tape (my favorite is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred) along with IT in the treadmill then the next day an hour walking on the treadmill, then repeat.
Here's my first weigh in with this group:

I think I'm down about 1.5 from the last time I weighed myself which was a week or two ago. I'm happy with 195 because I now feel I have both feet firmly planted below 200. It's the first time I've been below 200 in 7 years!!!!

Mfajita! Thanks! I'm 37 and in better shape now than when I was in High School! When I graduated in 1989 I was 230lbs and couldn't run a mile. Now I'm 195 and run 5K 3x a week!
lbh, I've had those days. Hang in there. Today is a new day to make all the right choices!

Beate4...Girl don't talk about yourself like that! Ever! You're here to make a lifestyle change for a healthier, more fit you! We all have days were we don't feel as good about ourselves as others, but guess what....Those are the days where we all need to take a good long look at ourselves in the mirror, because we are beautiful.
jodiferjuniper...Thanks for the words of encouragement! Even though I've had a rough couple of days, I'm still thinking about the big picture and I don't think those couple of rough days are going to have a huge impact.

Got a new scale for Mother's Day ( I asked for it - always a practical gift requester ) and my weight fluctuated back UP on the new - almost took it back and stayed with the old!!!! So I am now BACK down to the same as last week - will wait til tomorrow for "official" stat - praying for a miracle ![]()
Have done well logging and counting calories -DH won a new laptop that I can keep right in the kitchen most of the time so no excuses. Also adding in excercise (on most days) and LOVE to see the calorie deficit rise.

I've definitely had better weeks. I've strayed a bit off course. Had to go up north for a funeral last week and then Mother's day followed. I don't think I've gained more than a pound - definitely not lost. I need to get my focus back and get on track. With my hubby out of town, I'm left to to everything on my own around the house after working full-time and then managing two toddlers in the evening, Mon-Fri and we "enjoy" the weekend too much. I'm still working out at least twice a week but I know it's not enough for me. This week feels like the start of "Mother natures" time so that could be why I'm craving SWEETS so much!

I just had a baby 5 months ago, but he was premature so I am trying really hard to do the breastfeeding thing as long as possible (but contrary to popular belief for me breastfeeding makes it harder to lose weight not easier).
I am 5'5" and fluctuate between 195 and 205.
I want to get down to 150 so about 50 lbs to lose.
Right now I am not "counting" calories but am writing down everything I eat and noticing trends etc.
I am trying to exercise 5 days a week, but due to work schedule, household responsibilities and the baby I don't always get to it.
Good morning everyone! I weighed this morning and am down about 2 lbs to 193.2. Yay! I'm feeling very centered this week, I already have workout times planned through Sunday and I've also got meal plans set for the weekend, which is going to include on dinner eaten out for DH's birthday.

im 36, currently 194 punds and looking to lose 50 ounds. Ive gone from a size 10 to a 16 & want to get back down again, Ive done the slimfast thing & lost 23 punds but cant not eat forever!!
Hello ladies! What a great group! I'm 5'6" and almost 30 years old. My SW in Jan 09 was 212lbs and, thanks to some much needed calorie awareness, am down to my CW of 180lbs. My goal is 175 by the end of next month (a family wedding) and 160lbs overall. When I hit that 160, maybe I will re-evaluate and go from there. I am a size 16 jean and would love to hit a 12 again. Of course in my fantasy world I would love to drop to 130lbs and a size 9 jean (just not a double digit, you know?!?!).
My big workout effort has been the treadmill and, as much as I would love to run mile after mile, I am realizing the success with the HIIT training where I go on one speed for a minute and then sprint at a much higher speed for 30 seconds. Repeat for as many sets as you can. Then add one more. LOL. It has been a huge calorie burner for me and I enjoy my "walk" to catch my breath, so I would recommend this for anyone. I started with walking at 4 for a minute and then run at 7 for 30 seconds. It took me forever to get through 6 sets of this. I can now do sprints at 9 and can do various intervals for 20 or 25 minutes if I really push it.
My motivation is "Skinny isn't easy....if it was, my sister-in-law would be".....works for me because I'm not a huge fan of hers, so the image and the chuckle is enough to keep me on the treadmill for one more minute, you know? Find what works for you.....and remembering that I may lose a battle (ie overeat my calories one day), but I will still win the war (back on track the next day and think big picture....eventually I WILL hit that 160). Hi All,
Well, I went on vacation and ate and drank my way across Texas. It's so easy to be in a routine at home, but when traveling I just fall off the wagon. So far I've only gone up two pounds, to a CW of 181, but I'm bummed because I was below the 180 mark and now I'm above. (5'6", my SW was 201 in October, my GW is 150).
Any advice for how to travel and maintain? Especially hurts when the caloriecount website gave me the thumbs down. :(

My husband and i are headed to an all inclusive in the dominican tomorrow and i am so nervous that i am going to blow it. any kind of booze is included, food 24/7 , 3 different buffets, 6 free sit down restaurants, a coffee shop and a pizza place...... i just want to scream at this point. It has actually been keeping me up at night. There are tonnes of activities to do all included. But this will be my first time since being on CC that i wont have access to it. (no internet) My plan is to try to stay focussed and to just maintain my weight for the week. I am just thinking with all the walking on the resort, all the swimming i will be doing with my little daughter and all the other things i can do if i want, this doesnt have to be the disaster from hell where i come back heavier than when i started cc at the end of march. I wish i could take a cc buddy with me to keep me in check. Oh well, i havent been on vacation since our honeymoon in sep 2006 so instead of dreading a vacation i should just enjoy it right??
