30 lbs by January 1st, 2008---***CLOSED***
I have been looking through the forums and all the cool 'loose by this date' posts are closed so I wanted to start a new one. According to the site this is a healthy goal if starting throughout the month of September. So your first post should be your current height, weight, bmi and goal weight.
Check in to post sucess, frustration and whatever else you need to talk about to keep you on track.

My motivation went downhill after my sons got sick and then my workout partner got sick, then I got sick...and now it has been pretty much a rollercoaster of staying healthy for all of us ever since October :(
Hopefully after the cold/flu season passes we will all be healthier and I will have my energy and motivation to get back again!
I just found out my old scale was 10lbs off....when i thought I was 192/193...I was actually 202/203. I'm NOW 193lbs....so there goes reaching my goal of 170 by January :(
Oh, bummer! I found out too that mine is generous by 4 lbs! Keep using your scale to track your progress. It may not be telling you the correct weight, but at least it is showing you how well you are doing! I'm pretending that my scale is correct. I'll get a new one when I'm really close to my goal....but not now, I need to feel like I'm at the weight it is telling me.
One more weigh in after today! although I'm not going to make my 135 goal from the beginning of the thread, and probably not going to make my 155 goal from after thanksgiving, I am currently at 158.8. So I am officially in the 150's...and my new goal is 135 by 3/16. Which is doable.
Congrats to everyone who made their goal! And good job to those who didn't make their goal, but made progress towards it!
