10lbs by July 4th!
I know that might not even be possible for me but it is a goal I can try to shoot for. Who want to join me in the fight?
Here is a little bit about me. I'm a mostly SAHM of a 3 year old who has battled weight for along time. I won and hit my goal last Christmas the stopped. Over the last few months I gained back 15lbs. I have lost 5 and have 10 more to go. If I lose 5 more I can live with that.
This is a life long battle that I can win!
I'm 38
My highest weight: 235
When I joined CC: 178
Now: 130
Goal 120 to be maintained with a 5lb cushion.

Two pounds! I am so bloated and its TTOM so I feel like a beached whale today! Hopefully that will go better once this ends! BLECH!

I'm surprised I lost anything this week because I haven't been able to go walking/jogging cuz of the rain all week! Goin to buy a new scale today so I may have to tweak my weights since I am getting a more accurate scale, but knowing that I lost a pound and a half feels great!
High weight: 197.6. First goal weight: 150 by November 1st. Final goal weight: 135 by March 1st 2010.

Hi, I am trying to loose 10lbs. I have a 16 month son and stop breast feeding when he was 12 months, now that I am not breast feeding I have gained 10 lbs in 4 month... (not good) So here I am :)

Hi. I would love to lose 10 pounds by July 4th. Count me in. I will start tomorrow, so I will put my last weeks weight in.

I'm hoping to hold steady or for a marginal loss this week. TTOM and the return of lifting weights usually causes me to gain in the short term just from water retention.
I think I did OK for the weekend... not good, but not terrible. I guess we'll see how it goes tomorrow morning.
Maybe I'll go try do a round of one of the workout videos since I feel a little more motivated now. See you all tomorrow!

I'm 25/4'11''/128lbs single (no kids) heading back to grad school soon. I danced most of my life-not so much in college. At my ideal fitness I was about 115-120, rather muscular. So that's my goal now (the fitness AND the weight!).
I have a family reunion in July (haven't seen them since Thanksgiving) and honestly, I would LOVE to be
by then!!
I started lst week Saturday so here's my goals:

not the easiest week. School ended for the semester so there was a lot of going to bars and graduation parties. So, I'm fairly pleased with my results even if I was 1/2 lb short of my goal. This week should be much easier. Hope you're all happy with your results!!!!

Hi and congrats on week 1! I'm also short, 5'0 and 25 also. I do have to work very hard to lose weight, but I'm also about 20 lbs overweight for my height. Currently I'm at 154 lbs and I'm supposed to be around 128 ish. What kinds of things are you doing to lose? I just really started this week, so I'm going to try my best with Hip Hop Abs. Forgot to weigh in yesterday, so here's my unofficial weigh in:
I'm going to have to get myself a digital scale to make me feel better lol! But I didn't lose much this week because I couldn't get any workouts in and we were super busy all weekend eating!!! Next week should be better! Good Luck everyone!
I know it was weigh in on Monday, but it was my Birthday on Sunday and I drank alot of Bloody Mary's and indulged, so the scale may give me a mini panic attack, I will weigh myself on Wed. and report back, hopefully it won't be too bad ;)

I think I'm having pizza for dinner tonight. I keep going back and forth about when we are having it. I just can't decide if I want it tonight or tomorrow. Most likely I'll just make something when I get home and then I won't have to even worry about it. I think I'll make a pasta something instead. It still will be kinda high calorie but at least then I'll be in control. Ordering a pizza is just so easy. If I get something out tonight I can put it in the crock-pot in the morning. (my problem is I'm normally home to cook but this week I'm at work every night till 5 and by the time I get home it's almost 6 and by then the child as well as myself is starving) I don't know how people do it.

I'm not surprised; I usually go up for TTOM. Add that to the holiday plus the fact that I started lifting weights again and it means I've got at least some water weight. I'll have to wait until next week to see what really happened.
I managed to eat terrible today, so I'm a little demoralized. It's bad when boredom and stress at work leads to eating over your burn... even after adding 500 to your burn meter total for the day through exercise. I wasn't even hungry, and I even felt fairly full, but I couldn't help myself today. On top of a gain, this feels icky; I know the gain so far is water - I'll have to work 'harder' to get a real gain. It doesn't help things though.
Maybe I'll catch a second wind and do a workout video here in a bit.

HELP! I'm having a very hungry day, Its a rainy day so I cant do my normal walk at this time. I want to eat and I am stressed out my girls are really moody today. I don't have a car today so I cant go walk indoors anywhere. I need to do something to get my mind off food any suggestions?????? Amy
