I'm looking to lose around 12 lbs. I'm a 5'4" girl around 117 lbs right now. Anyone can join this group for sharing tips and motivation. And maybe we'll have weekly weigh-ins to show our awesome progress! ![]()
hey guys, sorry i haven't posted in awhile. i've been so busy lately! but the goal of 1-2 pounds by next monday sounds great! and welcome aboard to the new members :)
i'd also like to share that as of this morning i'm down two pounds!!!although they are most definitely water weight, the smaller number on the scale made me feel great :)

I'm 14, 5'4, starting weight 180, and right now i'm down to 165[.2], but I want to be like 155 or less by October 15th so I'll look great for a Cobra Starship concert! :D I'll try to weigh in every Saturday I guess.

i myself am down to 115, from 117. I was down to 114, but didnt eat very well on friday or saturday, but it was most likely water weight anyways. I was pretty discouraged by the poor eating and, albiet minor, gain in weight. But the next day i had SUCH a bad stomach ache from the poor eating, so i've learned my mistakes, and never want to do that again.
can't wait to hear everyone else's progress :)

Hey joining a little late but would really like to take part. Put on some weight over the summer due to a lot of overindulging... currently somewhere around 115-120. Would like to get down to 110-112 range. This was my weight at the beginning of the summer and unfortunately everything seems to have gone to my ass... I will be attempting to eat healthier while I'm overseas, living in Paris. Would like to reach this goal by October 15 at 1-2lbs per week.
I think its quite sad that girls of some of your ages are wanting to lose weight when you are already at a healthy weight.
Girls of 13, 14, 15 etc shouldnt be thinking of dieting, you should be out there enjoying yourself. And if its about boys.......most would rather someone to hold and a twig to cuddle!
Trust me, worrying about weight will only make you unhappy. I was always worried about my weight when i was your age and by the age of 17 I suffered really bad depression for a year, mainly caused by what i thought others thought of me. I would never wish depression on even my worst enemy.
My advice would be to think about doing some regular exercise, maybe going going for long walks with friends or to classes. I go to a Salsaburn class with my best friend every week and we love it. We get to spend time together and improve our fitness.
Numbers on scales dont mean much, you can be light and unhealthy. I have friends who are tiny but walking up a flight of stairs wears them out, where others who are a little bigger could run up them and not be our of breath!

hey girls, there are at least three people posting on this thread with unhealthy goals. i know it's not really any of my business if you want to be underweight, but i've been in that position and i wouldn't recommend it..! stay healthy! why not try toning up or eating clean instead? just a suggestion :)
