2nd week on this lifestyle change.  I started with needing to lose 60 lbs.- have lost ~3-4lbs the first week, feeling a lot better & doing routine exercise (a first in my life).  Anyone else in the same situation?  If anyone needs to lose ~ 60 lbs. & wants a thread to keep track of our progress, just add yourself on .....

I went to Orlando for a long weekend, and I just stepped on the scale this morning to get my post-vacation weight... which turned out to be exactly the same as my pre-vacation weight! So (fortunately) I didn't gain anything in five days of eating not-very-healthy food... I just didn't lose anything. Before I left I was 212.2, and now I'm 212.4. Now it's back to eating right and exercising... I've still got thirty pounds to go!

Wow!  I see this thread is still going strong.  I was here when it started then jumped off the wagon sometime in November but am back at it again effective yesterday.   I have "found" all but 8 of the 22 pounds I lost Yell but atleast didn't find them all.   Wink

When I was posting before my Mom had recently passed away (7/23/07).  Here I am back again and my Dad has recently passed away (4/6/08).  Both had cancer.  Another chapter closed.  It's time for me to get on with life.

A pretty good week and a really good last two days. I was beginning to lose my focus, but just the thought of a different me, pushed me back! I am so excited and I just want this so bad and nothing can stop me :)

I'm so frustrated with myself, I've lost nothing in like over a month now. I keep gaining and losing the same pound. I know why, I'm not keeping my calories under control. I'm feeling entitiled to a bowl of ice cream every night (not a small one). The last couple days have been better, but I need to find a way to regain my drive for this. I've kept a branch buring, I just need to turn it back into a full fledged fire!!! Anyone got some quotes or stories to fan my flame?

Joellejello, I am in the same boat as you. I just can't seem to get things rolling again.  What can we do to get our motivation back?

I'm down to 209 now... 56 pounds down, 29 to go! It's starting to get exciting...

sorry I've been away ladies.   we've moved my offices at work and the kids got out of school last week and was out of town this weekend.  haven't had much chance to get on here and check on everyone.

good news though!  my weigh-in this morning was 198.6! Lowest weight yet since starting on c-c at 225. 

Total loss to date: 26.4 pounds!

To anyone lacking motivation...sorry out of it myself!! I haven't been losing very well either and I keep trying new things to see if they work..such as 10 mile walks..eat more food to keep from starvation mode, eat more protein..eat more fruits and veggies..uh the list goes on, oh drink green tea. So all this and still an average of 2 lbs per month loss...what is going on here?? I am still in the game though, just get discouraged more than encouraged lately. My walks will continue, aiming for 1000 miles before it gets to cold to walk...only 723 miles to go, lol. I will let you know what works..............

We've all made it past the holiday weekend and I gather from some of the June posts that summer hasn't been faring exactly great for all of us ...

but I'm with sdmerrill, I know that being away from here and being lax with my WHOLE attitude about caring for myself is what has set me back.

I've got to care about myself and be aware every day; which foods I choose, how much I eat, getting out my chair (which I have been doing okay there, been walking 30-40 minutes every day), and being more diligent with logging my foods. 

Susan and I are back on the accountability trail and will be here for weigh-in on Friday ... all are welcome back to join us and continue on our paths to better health and smaller tushies!!  :)

Good Morning everyone!  It's Friday and I am ready to weigh in.  I've missed weigh in's while I was gaining all this weight back.  Lol.  Monday morning after a big binge weekend I weighed 188.  Today I weigh 182.  I guess eating correctly and staying off of the fast food this week allowed me to lose some fluid too.

I've missed having everyone's support.  But I realize it was my choice to not participate in the group and my guilt that kept me away. 

SO, here I am one more time to try it AGAIN!!

I'm here.  Last weekend I was up to around 206, also taking in to mind I have not been watching what I eat, added to TTOM ...

this morning I'm in at 200.6, and I know a lot of it is fluid but I feel so much better!  My hands aren't tingly in the mornings and my rings aren't tight! 

So I am with you.  I've only got a couple of pounds to go to get back to my previous record low, and then onward to my goal!

I have been using another site, but will start checking in here more regularly again.  Anyway, I gained a fair amount of my weight back, but I am on the right track again!
I started at 243 pounds and am now at 222.6 pounds.  My low with CC+ was 219, so I need to drop 4 pounds to beat that...and then keep on going.
I am hoping for 195 by Christmas!

I miss you ladies...are you still out there????  I know I have been gone for a long time....but I hope you are still there!

 I am still here.  It's been a tough journey here lately.  I want to lose the weight, but I am having a tough time eating correctly.  I sure could use some moral support!

All Rightie Then!  Let's give eachother that support.  We can do it together - let's make it a "Wonderful Water-Filled Wednesday" and drink a ton of water and eat lots of water-based foods like fruits and veggies to fill us up and flush the fat away.  We can do this together.  :o)

I am at 222.6 today and hoping to be down to 220.0 by our next weigh-in....anybody out there besides SDMerrill and I????

Way to go Betsy!  I'm still at 186 today.  TTOM is here so maybe I'm retaining fluid.  I need to start exercising more.  I work in the garden alot,  but that's not like getting your heart rate up.

Ladies where are you hiding at?  Come on back and help me get this weight off for good!  Please?  I miss all of y'all.  Boombabies, I saw where you had logged on today, how are you?  I hope all is well with you.

Yes Ladies!  The Delinquents are back and wanting to rally up the troops!!!
Took my son to the zoo today with a friend and her boys.  It was crazy.  Please remind me never to go to the zoo on a hothothothot Saturday again! Ugh!  The boys did great.  We hardly ate a thing because it was so hot.  Just need to do a small amount of exercise tonight to keep a super-high calorie deficit...hopefully my body doesn't realize how little it consumed today and turn ravenous on me later this evening!!!
