I am 14 almost 15 and I weigh about 175 pounds. I am between 67 and 68 inches and am a size 11/12. I want to be a size 7/8 and weigh about 155. I want everyone who wants tyo join to join. I am going to go on a 1650 calorie diet, and do cardio for 30 minutes a day. Do you think I can do this in 10 or 12 weeks.
Hey, I'll join the 20lbs club! I am 22, 65 in and weigh 156. I want to get to 137 (I already lost a pound). Good job in starting this when you are younger! I ran track and cross country in high school and didn't appreciate how thin I was! Last fall I ran the Chicago marathon, but gained back the weight/lost the muscle shortly after that. Anyway...you have a great plan in place, and my point was doing this now will help you so much when you are in college and have to cook for yourself. As far as doing this in 10 to 12 weeks, I would aim for closer to 15. You can do it in less time, but don't get discouraged if it takes longer. There will be setbacks and plateous, but we are all here for you. Let me know how it goes!

So by october 26 I will hopefully weigh 155 pounds and be a size 7.
Oh, also, each body type is different, but at 155 I wear an 8, but sometimes a ten. But losing any weight will be great! Good luck!

This is my club! Yay! I've lost over 90 pounds so far and these last 20 don't seem to want to leave my frame :P I started losing weight last August so I'm almost at a year. It's taken some time, but it's been worth it. Hopefully I'll get these last 20 off before October or November *pretty please*

Just wanted to check in! Tomorrow is my weigh in day. Does anyone else get nervous/excited? I try to tell myself not to care in case I end up disappointed, but after trying hard all week you feel that you must have lost weight! I'll post once I weigh in, but I really hope I dropped at least a pound. I know that I had a few days over my limit this week, but I also made sure to work out 5 days this week, at min of 35 min. How's everyone else doing?
HI!!! im onli 62 inches and im 170 lbs. Im trying to walk 30-1 hour a day and have less than 1000 calories a day. Planning to lose 20 pounds by the end of august. im gona join this group :D

After I had my baby 3 1/2 years ago I weighed 268. I lost the first 70 pounds just by eating right and no exercising but then the weight loss came to a stop. I then joined a recreation center and started to work out in Feb. of 2006. Since then I've lost 51.5 lbs.
It is really hard for me to lose weight. I lose about 2 pounds a month if I am lucky. I work out 9 hours a week and eat about 1500 calories a day. One of the trainers at my Rec center said I wasn't eating enough and that is why I wasn't losing any weight. So I started eating 1800 calories a day and in 4 days I lost 2 lbs ! I couln't believe it!

Absolutely Postively! I weigh 130 and I'm 65 inches (5"5) and I want to get between 110 and 115 (so pretty close to 20 pounds). I just restarted my entire diet and exercise program. I'm throwing away a certain date where I have to be a certain size because I never get to my exact goal and then I quit like a week into it. So now, I'm going to just keep working my jiggly butt off until I get what I want. I'm also probably going to buy Jillian Michaels Making the Cut to help me tone and lose the jiggle.

Hey I'm 141-142 and would like to get to 120..so, 20 pounds. I am 22, 5'4 (I think I need to get an official height next time I'm at the doctor...who knows when that is). I've been on here a month and nothing, but I'm hoping that this month I can kick it into gear!

Just joined today, and looks like I found the perfect thread to post on, as I've got 17 pounds to lose. Nice to meet everyone. I am five foot zero, small framed, and currently weigh 112 pounds. My goal is to get back down to 95 pounds. I eat 1200-1500 calories a day. I power walk seven days a week, 7 - 10 miles a day. Also work with 3 - 5 lb weights. (arm exercises ) Once winter rolls around I'll be joining a fitness center. My goal is to lose 1/2 pound a week. I want to take the weight off very slowly this time, so I have a good chance of keeping it off. I have a food journal and record everything I eat as well as the nutrients, fat and calories. Good luck everyone!

This looks like the right place for me to post as well, I've got 19 to go and am finally ready to do it! I found this site a few days ago and have been tracking my calories carefully (I'm doing 1500 calories a day). I walk regularly and have an active job, so I'm hoping that I'm good on the exercise front. Good luck to everyone!

Hello! I would like to join!! I am 21 years old, living in Canada and would like to lose about 20 lbs. I don't feel comfortable posting my current weight. But this looks like the right place for me!!
I am trying to aim for around 1200 calories a day... I am a little confused though. If I eat 1600 and burn 400 is this still as effective?
