Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me Smile?!

Ok this week is back down again. Maybe I am in the up and down rut again for a few months. I guess I will just keep on doing it. Well this this week we sold our house and signed on a new one today. The stress is killing me. Just doing my part to help the enconomy I guess. I am off to Colorado this weekend for five days for a family vacation. I will be good I swear. So next weeks weigh in may not happen for me but the scale never lies. On a lighter note I made a strawberry/rhubarb pie with Splenda this past weekend. It sure was good. I have never used the Splenda in baking before. Of course that pie is always good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream along side. Keep up the good work this week everyone.

I've hit my first goal weight of 185!  (Well, 0.2 away, but let's just say.)  I wanted to hit it by May 20, so I'm thrilled.  I've set 6 more mini-goals for myself throughout the rest of 2008.  momof2funykds, we're the same again -- way to go on the 3 lb loss! 

I've been keeping my fiber high and sodium lower lately.  It's really helping.  Knees are still tricky, but I'm able to do recumbent bike and walk for longer sessions than last week.  I can't wait for the pain to go away so I can get back to weight-lifting and try to get back into jogging.

I think i lost 5 lbs because i was really sick yesterday.

weight chart is updated.  I have a question.  How do you keep on a healthy diet with such a busy life style.  With both my girls playing softball, the youngest in Sparks, Curves 3 to 4 times a week and now preparing our yard for our new play structure (Home daycare), I am finding that I am slipping back into my old eating habits.  I don't have time to make a good meal so we are eating quick fast meals that are not the greatest.  I don't like making supper when the daycare children are here because then they all want to eat before they go home.

Karrene, I worked in daycare and one of things I would is give the children a snack before they were picked up. Something simple like a cup of Cherrios mixed with raisins, graham crackers,or a slice of cheese with fruit. This would hold them over until their supper time and the parents appreciated them not being starved. And don't for get giving them water to fill them up!

I use my crockpot at night when I sleep and then all I have to do is heat it up for dinner. You can even have raw veggies and dip for yourself to munch on.

I'm finally seeing results, hired a personal trainer and he is kicking my butt.  Wall Sits anyone?  Pure evil.  Improving on the planks, progressed from a modified plank to 3 sets of full planks with forearms on stability ball.  Seriously, if you want a kick start, or someone to literally kick your butt, committ to a personal trainer.

I'm going through some weird motivation-discouraging hormonal thing right now. On the plus side, I started drinking green smoothies. I'm ingesting 4-5 servings of fruits and veggies at once. I started adding Fiber One to the smoothie, too, to boost the fiber intake at the same time.

1/2 a pound lost. I'll take it considering it's still that time of the month.  

1/4 inch off of waist :)

man, been bobbing up and down for the past month... was 180.2 a few days ago... but will admit to eating 2 burgers and 2 hot dogs and lots of beer yesterday at a graduation BBQ... but that was over the entire course of the day... guess i should be glad i didn't put on 5 lbs!
