Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me Smile?!

Thanx, up to 205 today.  Just started back logging and exercising again after a week of being laid up with a muscle spasm in my back.  I think it was the shock.  I wonder if I could shock my body into losing weight, like a week on, week off....not likely....I'll just try to stick to the plan!

I haven't posted for awhile....I signed up with a personal trainer in April, my start weight on April 28 was 234

Current Weight:  218

Goal Weight: 153

Down 16 pounds in 6 weeks. (averaging -2.6 a week)

Lot's of sweat -- Couch to 5K program (I'm in the run/walk group), race is set for July 19.

Personal trainer 2x weekly, 1/2 hour session with NO stopping, each exercise to failure.

Zumba ...occasionally

Lap swimming

Experiencing some muscle strains from the walk/running and seeing a chiropractor for http://www.activerelease.com/what_patients.as p ART so I don't get sidelined!! ART translates into "hurts like h*LL" but once performed, the muscle spasm is zapped and your range of motion is improved.  For example, I strained my abductor (inner thigh) muscle on Sunday, went in on monday and was able to do the walk/run on tues.  Alas, I hurt my lower leg now... and hopefully tomorrows treatment will help.

Well we are moved in. On the upside we got lots of exercise, on the down side I did not eat very well. Alot of pizza was consumed since it was easy and available. Now that things are settling down, I can get back on track starting yesterday. My next goal is 260 by July 1st. It may be hard to hit that at the rate I have been going. I should be able to get back to the gym next week since the house is still upside down and we are getting things put away. Have a great week everyone.

Checking in a little late this week.  Able to stay on track for the 1400 cal/day but not so much for the activity.  Was too hot here for several days to walk.  Been to see the doc and she cleared me to start light resistive activity (just a little) for the next 2 weeks and then should be ok to finally get back to exercising.  I think not being able to exercising has made me more conscious of what I eat because I know I can't really work off a lot.  Hope to stay on track.
