***50-70 lbs. to Lose Club!***
Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me

Weight's been coming off nicely but I have also just started noticing that my hair is falling out - has anyone else had this happen to them after losing a bunch of weight? I don't mind so much if it's not too much and it's temporary but I'd rather not lose all my hair at 39 years old. It's driving me crazy!! I also lost hair after giving birth to my kids but it only lasted a couple of months.
Any advice?

rasmom - I have the problem with my hair too! It's horrible! Especially after I wash it. :( I was told that its a Vitamin B deficiency. But I don't know. There are so many reasons why we could be having this problem. My hair is still thick and it's growing, it just comes out alot. It could be stress, hormonal,......the list could go on and on! Just be sure you take a daily vitamin ( I do) and you eat well.

Count me in!!! I've been at it for just over a month. I'm down 15, but hit a plateau NINE days ago!!! I do 30 minutes of cardio EVERY day, 2-3 days of moderate weight training, and take in 900-1500 calories per day. ANYBODY HAVE ANY PLATEAU BUSTING SECRETS??!!??

cinfuldiva - I broke a month long plateau by changing my diet (the things I was eating) and my whole exercise routine and I also upped my calories for a week to maintenance.
I increased my calories today and skipped my cardio. (Part of it was weight loss strategy, but part of it was aggravation.) I'm going to keep my calories up a bit and change up my exercise for the next week and see what happens. Thanks a bunch!

I hope that everyone had a great Holiday weekend. I know that I did. Really surprised that the weight was not much worse with all the ribs and hotdogs and dringking going on camping for three days. Sorry no post last week but got tied up with life and just spaced it. So now I am hitting it hard again. Last years 4th is where i hit my first plateau. This year is going to be when I break this current one. I just need to eat better and quit "justifying" the bad foods that I have been eating. I know thaty are not good, but I still eat it more thatn I should. I guess you can say I did not fall off the wagon but I was being drug behind it.

Thanks for the feedback momof2funykids. I've always been taking a multi-vitamin but now I'm taking one specifically for hair and nails. Hopefully it helps.
