***50-70 lbs. to Lose Club!***
Hey everyone! I decided to make a group for those who need to lose anywhere from 50 to 70 lbs. I think if we do weigh-ins once a week (whatever day works for each person), we can all keep each other motivated. It is possible for most people who join this group to lose mostly all of the extra weight by the end of 2008! We can all use tomorrow as our first weigh-in. Who's with me

I'd like to join! I'm very new to this forum; feel free to point me to some starter threads or sites!I have about 75 lbs total to lose. (I'm 5'2".) Last summer I lost 20 pounds and was on a roll, and then I went to see my best friend on vacation and... well, stopped completely. Then I lost heart and haven't really tried to lose since then.
But now I've found CC, I hope to find motivation and help others as well!

Yeah, weigh in time...I was very affraid, because my schedule has been really crazy and I really haven't had a lot of time to work out this week, I ate pourly because of scheduling and my son's birthday. All in all, I am blessed.

Well another Tuesday and another weigh-in. It seems that I have gained 3 pounds from last week. But that seems to be the way things have gone for the past 3 1/2 months. Up and down and not going either way. Man not loosing is the pits. Congrats on all of you that have take a few pounds off last week. Keep up the good work.
Phinman, don't let the gain get you down. You've come a long way already and you can do it! We've all had our weeks when we saw a pound or two creep back on but we can't let it defeat us.
Are you dedicating enough time to tracking your calories and are you getting in any exercise? I saw the pictures of you and your beautiful family and, WOW! There's some incintive right there to stay on track. When you're craving a big fat hamburger, or whatever it is that's your trigger food, just imagine that food in one hand, and in the other hand visualize you on a fun family vacation and you having tons of energy to romp around with the kids. Which is more important?
Yeah, I know, easier said then done.
