>>60-80lbs to Lose Group!<< (a.k.a "Open Group - 60-80lbs to Lose!")

Quote  |  Reply

I have 80lbs to lose until I reach my goal weight. Does anyone else have around 80lbs to lose? If so, post your stats and we can lose the weight together!

Here are my stats:

  • SW (Starting Weight): 194lbs
    CW (Current Weight): 185lbs
    GW (Goal Weight): 104-105lbs
  • Height: 5' 1"
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 18

We're all here to support each other. So, whether you're having a great day or a horrible day, feel free to talk about it here. Post your weight updates whenever you feel comfortable doing so. There is only one rule here: Be kind. Let's not bring each other down.

Good luck!

Edit (July 11, 2008): The group is now open for those hoping to lose 60-80lbs.

Edit (August 2, 2008): Please include how much weight you've lost since joining the group (when you post updates on your weight). I think it'll be good to keep track of this. =)

Nice to finally find a group to report to. I have been on CC for almost 2 years now. I lost 40lbs by eating too little and exercising A LOT, only to find myself stuck and in starvation mode. I have gained it all but 3 lbs back. I have spent several months now trying to coax my metabolism into believing I love it, so I can lose this darn weight!!! LMAO

Anywho its nice to meet others with my same goals.

What day is weigh-in?

Hey, Kristine! I feel your pain, lol. I went on a starvation diet when I was young(er) and stupid, lost 60lbs, then gained 70lbs back... -_-" At least we're on the right track this time!

There is no official weigh-in day. Everyone has different "cycles", so I believe that everyone should choose when they want to weigh in. In case you're interested, I weigh myself on Fridays (I seem to be at my lowest weight on Fridays, lol).

Good luck and thanks for joining!

Sounds good.

So this thread is kinda quiet, where is everybody?!?!

I have no clue! Grrr...

Well, I'm going to attempt to post here daily. Every day, I'll post something that'll help us all reach our goals (quotes, articles, videos or any tips to keep you all motivated).

Today, I found a great site that has some great workout videos. This is a 6 minute video for the glutes, hips and thighs. Try it!

still here, still fighting:)

Yay! Lol.

Did you guys have a good day?

A slice of pizza somehow ended up in my mouth... I have no idea how it got there! =P  Lol, oh well, tomorrow's another day!

I have been doing great lately. I just kinda found that extra kick in tha a** I needed.

Actually, Im planning a vacation for my family to LAke Tahoe next July. My goal is to be down to ATLEAST 200 by then...*crosses fingers*

You're definitely going to make it to 200lbs. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if you're 160-170lbs by then!

I want to be at least 150lbs by the end of December (trip to California), so I have about 20-22lbs to lose. If I really step it up, I can probably get down to 130lbs. We'll see how these next few months go. =)

Good morning, everyone! I figured I'd give you some motivational quotes to start you off today.

"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results." --Anonymous

"Those who believe they can do something are probably right – and so are those who believe they can’t." --Anonymous

Stay committed and stay motivated! We can lose this weight together. =)

O I soo like those quotes for today. So true!!!!

I lost a lb!! I know its not much but Im so happy the scale is finally going in the other direction!!

Congratulations! Hey, you're 1lb closer to your goal than you were yesterday, so it's definitely an accomplishment! When do you weigh yourself?

I weigh on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the a.m ofcourse. I try not to weigh more than that because Im a slave to the scale if I do. LOl

Lol, I know what you mean. I used to weigh myself twice each day, but that only made me depressed.

Anyhow, good morning everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I know that work can sometimes get stressful and/or boring, so here are a few tips about foods that'll help fight fatigue and get you through the day.

Don't give up! Stay motivated!

hi all

very hpt here so i eat quite light. had two iced coffees already, love them. also two tubs of yogurt, a peach, grapes a fantastic sheeps milk cheese... mmm... am at 1700 cals which is not bad but could be better

1700 is pretty good. =) You can always burn off some of those calories with a good workout.

I'm weighing myself tomorrow... bleh. I think I've maintained my weight...

Wish me luck! Lol.

Good luck!

So, no quotes or fitness tips today, lol, sorry!

I actually started here last summer with good results, lost about 20 pounds in a couple of months, then came school stress, college parties and holidays.  Good news was that I didn't gain much, stayed 193-193.5 all the way from September of last year to just last week.  Now I'm starting again and hoping to stay motivated to finish this time!
