Hey everybody!
I'm in a bit of a panic stage right now! My mother's wedding is coming up in May, and we both need to look extra good. My current wieght is about 205 lbs, and Iwanted to drop 50 lbs by May. Being a girl of only 14 years of age, I'm stressing!
I'm one of the bride's maids, so I kinda need to drop some weight so I can look beautiful next to the other girls.
We recently bough a tredmil, and I plan on working out on that for ateast ten-fifteen minutes a day. I'm stil lworking on what eat, but I eat relatively healthy. I MAY start up on Herbal Magic, just to help me along.
Will this plan work? I need to make sure it does.
Thank you!
hi,,i about have the same goal as you,,,trying to get down 60lbs by late may or june,,, im following a meal plan of 1200 cal a day and walking for an hour a day and it seems to be working,,,ive lost 12lbs in the last 2 months,...,
i can send you a copy of the meal plan if you want,,its easy to follow,,,i see you are young so maybe you and your mom can both follow it and lose together,,,,its not healthy to eat less then 1200 a day,,good luck and im sure your both will be beautiful for the wedding,,,,nasima
Being a teenager means you need at least 1500 cals a day. 10 min on the treadmill is a good place to start if you haven't exercised before. Try upping it 5 minutes every 4-7 days. Good luck on your journey.
just under 10 pounds a month... it's doable but it'll be hard... it took me over a year to lose 20lbs but i started off at a lower weight
if you are really careful about your calorie count you should lose a significant amount of weight in the first couple of months...take exercise easily, like for example, start running for 5 minutes a day and slowly increase until you can run for an hour by May.
And just incorporate more exercise into your life, start swimming, go on hikes, go bowling, golfing, dancing, cleaning, walking, biking... just anything other than sitting around even if it's not intense exercise.
and then once you notice a plateau, i would recommend working out really hard for the last couple of months, start weight training, just keep working to increase how much weight you can endure.
keep at it, and don't give up when you don't see results on the scale right away.
seeing as how you are 205, i can imagine, if you actually do count EVERY calorie, and make sure to WEIGHT and MEASURE everything!! and stay absolutely accurate, you will be quite successful.
good luck
