10-15 LBS - Need help staying on track, all welcome to join!

I'm 25, newly married and am putting on weight.  I got down to my ideal weight right before my wedding but the day after I went back to my old habits.

I need to lose 10-12 lbs and would like to post my meals each day and get any advice etc.  Anyone who wants to join, feel free.  This is the only way it works for me and this is how I lost the weight before!

Start Weight - 144

Goal Weight - 133

Today's Meals

B: 1 cup of Maple Crunch cereal, 1 cup skim milk, tangerine (310)

S: 8 almonds, banana (~100)

L: 3 onces of baked salmon with lemon, broccoli spears, 1/2 cup of brown rice, apple sauce (~435)

S: tangerine, v8 shot (60)

D: BIG salad, 1 can of tuna in water, 1 slice of ww bread with 1 tsp of butter (~350)

Brings me to ~1255 and enough room for a little ice cream later :)

I am 30 years old only 5 feet tall (on a good day, hehe)and 109.  I would like to lose 9 lbs to put me at my goal weight.

I do 1 hour of cardio 3-4 days a week and I weight train 2-3 days a week, with a full time retail job and a 2 1/2 year old it is hard to have any type of schedule!

My issue is I will eat well for a while, fruits, veggies no white flower, potatoes...and then I will have one of my daughters cookies...then I will have 10 of her cookies or a piece of cake at a birthday party turns into a night of raiding the pantry for anything sweet when i get home...so I would say self-control is my issues as well as the size of my butt!

I would love to be part of a group that will keep me on track. I have not read all the post yet but do you have a specific  weigh in day?

B- 1 egg with 1/4 c refried beans and 1 corn tortilla   204 cal

L- salad with bell pepper, carrots and celery and 1TBL ranch dressing.    120 cal

S-cantaloupe   44 cal

D-1/4 small french fries and 1/2 jumbo jack    365 cal

total-704

snack tonight of fresh fruit and granola bar should bring me to 1000

B - 50g jordans fruit and nut musili with 100g milk - 228 cal

(need to do about 40 mins aerobics/ toning exercises around here too)

L - the rest of the leek and potato soup (yum yum) - 110 cal

might have a salad too and maybe some noodles as im eating out tonight but were not going out until 8, so im going to be dying of starvation if i have just soup!~ 320 cals

D - going to a restaurant and then out for a couple of drinks so its gonna be like 1000 cals but i hand my cw in today so its a celerbration and i know i deserve it.... tonights most definately my night off :D

Everyone is doing so well with their meals - wish I could say the same for myself.  I mean, I'm not over-eating but mine are pretty boring compared to everyone else's.

B: Apple sauce, Banana

S: Almonds

L: Some type of broth based soup from Tim's or Chinese (my mom has a severe allergy to eggs and hasn't been able to eat them for 16 years, which includes chinese...she's getting retested today so we are hoping her allergy has disappeared!! And we'll celebrate :)

D: Black forest ham (2) slices, horseradish, broccoli and carrots

Not sure where I'll be calorie wise but I always try and stay around 1200 because I don't exercise much...

B: Fiber one, pineapple, 1 slice turkey bacon (240)

S1:Fiber bar, PB (200)

L: Vegetable medly, salad (250)

S2: cheese, apple (180)

D: Tilapia, mac and cheese (homemade), rice (450)

about 1350. Not too bad. My meals are pretty boring, too just about the same thing everyday except dinner.

Of course you can join!  We don't have a specific weigh in day (we all sort of came in with different ones) but I think we're mentioning our weight on the day we chose for ourselves.

As for last night, I was perfect!  Only thing I did wrong was have one starburst! otherwise I stuck to what I said I was going to eat and drink and didn't go over.

When I got on the scale this morning I was rewarded with a beautiful number.  143!!!! And I know it's not my official weight for the week, but I do get an official weight tomorrow!  How much can I gain in 1 day?!


Today my meals are (also monotonous and the same everyday):

B-toast w/jelly, yogurt

S-celery,clementine

L-Veggie and tomato soup :)

S-applesauce, clementine

D-8 oz pork tenderloin, more veggie soup (gotta get rid of it!!)

Then I have ~150 calories to snack with to hit my 1200

wow, ive just worked out that that is 65 kg which is how much i weigh! you eat a lot more disciplined than me though so im betting youll lose more weight than me!

Oh no I don't.  I fail at weekends.  Weekdays are easy since I have a routine, haha.  It's fun seeing people who are close to my height/weight.  I'm only an inch (maybe a half inch)  taller than you.  But you have a MUCH larger chest than me, so I'm guessing the rest of you is way slimmer than me too, haha.

I think we all eat bland meals and the same thing.

No breakfast today

L- Tuna Sandwich 330 cal   Trifle (one of the officer's wife make an awesome one so I splerged)  361   total so far 691

D will be spaghetti and salad.

Snack fruit

Should keep me about 1200.  I am looking forward to Monday and weighing in.

speaking of us eating the same things over and over, the knorr teriyaki noodles are pretty amazing, and besides the high sodium, not too bad for a packaged food.  fairly balanced.  I wish they'd make a version with whole wheat noodles!

I am trying to do healthy lunches but sometimes it is hard.  If I don't take a lunch with me I might not be able to get to the Personnel Kitchen.  There everything is fried but they will cater to whims.  Salads are the easiest thing I can come up with.

B: Fiber one (230)

S1: Fiber bar with pb (220)

L: BLT and goldfish (450)

S2: Apple, prunes (150)

D: Grilled chicken salad (I say after everything about 500 should be okay)

 

Well, I ate a LOT of salt yesterday (pork in a sodium rich marinade, popcorn drenced in salt, etc).  Today is supposed to be my weekly weigh in but it was 146.6 (higher than last week and I'm positive I have a weekly deficit)  I'm sure this is water weight from being a bad girl so I'm going to cheat and use yesterdays weight as my weekly recorded weight.  I'll still put todays in the CC weight log, but on my spreadsheet I want to show progress, not back stepping!

 

Here's todays menu:

B- Toast w/jelly, yogurt (like always)

S- Apple and carrots

L - 1 slice pizza (provided by the company at a huge long meeting) and a bowl of veggie soup

S - Celery, cheerios, applesauce

D - Pork tenderloin, veggie soup (I still have another weeks worth of soup!  i'm starting to get bored with it haha)

I might have some wine while playing cards tonight, but I'd really rather not.  I'll make up an excuse or something while everyone's over haha!  White lies make the word go round, no?

apart from the huge amount of alcohol i consumed yesterday, i think i did pretty well! i went out for a meal with my friends to celebrate our coursework being handed in and we went to pizza express (again.... i hardly ever eat pizza, but this last few weeks ive had a pizza every week :s) i ordered a chicken and grilled veg pizza, i asked for it with half cheese and no oil on the veg or chicken. it was soooo nice! i felt like i had managed to have a healthy pizza (plus i only ate about half of the base) so i treated myself to sharing an ice cream sundae with 2 other friends so i had about a scoop of ice cream which i was happy about!

 

today ive had:

B - porridge with tea and orange juice - 300 cals

L - half a tin of tomato soup and a watercress salad - 145 cals

D - roast chicken dinner and a jaffa cake - 669 cals

 

all together about 1114 cals!!!


as far as eating variety goes, i think im doing quite well! i generally only have the same meal in 2 days if it was so nice the night before that i want it again. ive found i can cook pretty much everything - i use all natural ingredients anyway (apart from pasta and noodles which i get from a packet :p)

i trained to be a chef at a restaurant when i was 16 though so i think that has somethign to do with it, there were always plenty of customers who wanted to have their meals healthy, and there are lots of ways to do that, one of them being dry frying (frying without oil) that way it works out just as healthy as grilling. meats etc can always be grilled and the fat drained off (got to love george foreman)

I am at 590 for the day so lots of play.  I have a meeting to go to so I won't worry about any snacks.  I do need to work on the food because I have been full all day with this amount of food.

B - full english the healthy way... grilled low fat sausage, poached egg and tinned tomato with tea and apple juice - 352

L - salad with half a tin of tuna - 264

D - not entirely sure yet but itll probabaly be around 500 cals so i have room for a snack while im working later at the restaurant

B: Fiber One (235)

S1: Fiber Bar (130)

L: BLT, apple (380)

S2: PB, crackers (160)

D: Chicken and vegetable stir fy w/ brown rice (400)

About 1300. Sounds good since no exercise today.

B - yogurt, granola and honey - 323

L - fresh tomato soup and a slice of bread - 182

D - jacket potato with half a tin of tuna, pesto and salad - 369

Snack - it was my friends bday today so we had ccarrotcake to celebrate ~ 200

ill probably have some more to eat after dinner too becasue im quite low on my calories!

Yesterday I was gone all day but I checked the calories and was at 1034.  Today we had a potluck after church and I had a little of chicken pot pie and a chicken and rice casserole and salad.  Still at about 500c for the day.

D- post roast and steamed broccoli.  I will have to do something to make up calories.

Tomorrow is weigh-in.

Hey Everyone!

I don't usually post on the weekend so sorry about that!  I have the winter blahs sooo bad! We just got hit with another snow/rain storm and the roads are like skating rinks...not good.

Today was weigh in for me -

Starting weight: 144

Last weeks weight: 143

This week: 143.5 (not surprising as I gorged myself with food this weekend :(
