i'm starting classes again jan 22. i managed to put 17 pounds on and am now 107. i'm 5'3 and a dance major and will not be able to stand seeing myself in the studio looking as i am now. i work for the fda and its a pretty sedentary job, despite the fact that i'm sitting in front of a computer all day it friggin tires me so much that i get home and just wanna go to bed. i eat from 300-700 cals a day not including 1 vitamin water, 1 can of soda and water. i feel that i'll never be able to go back to 90ish. i usually am 93 lbs. according to this site, doing what i'm doing now its gonna take me till june to get back down to 90. i dont have that much time! its so depressing the way i look now. anyone have any tips?

Your bio said you were trying to gain to be 115, I think. You're probably very tired because you're not eating enough.
yeah i originally was trying to gain... its a long story but basically my college funding was going to be halted so i was gonna keep working full time but now that its back i'm starting school up again and need to lose for dance. 115 is something i'd be comfortable at in life... but not on stage.
You'd be better off trying to gain the weight in muscles. Your body is going to start eating itself and you won't have the energy to dance. I'm sorry but CC really tries to promote healthy weight loss and for someone who's as small as you, it's unlikely to be a healthy journey.

eat only vegetables and SOME fruit. i would completely nix the pop. soup is always good- but not the creamy ones. in fact just forget diary products, and if u r worried about ca, i would just take a supplement. smoothies and water are good to drink + tea in the morning is yum with sweet&low.

that is my advice in a nutshell. good luck!

Honey, 90 pounds is not a heathy weight for a woman of 5'3.  I went to an arts school and had a lot of friends who were dancers.  I know how cut throat it can be.  However, is dancing worth dying for?  300-500 calories a day is not acceptable anywhere, for any reason, on this earth.  Instead of trying to lose weight, I suggest you seek counseling and the assistance of a nutritionist.
If you starve yourself to try and lose that seventeen pounds you won't be strong enough to dance come January! You don't need a diet - you need professional help to learn to accept yourself as a healthy young woman. You've already had an eating disorder once - you know what it's like... so why do you want to go there again? What happened to the strong young woman who wrote your profile?

With your current weight, your BMI is 19, which is the lower limit of acceptable weight for your height.

I don't think you've overcome your ED. If anything, your ED seems to be in full bloom. I highlighted the parts of your post that indicate that.

Please speak to a doctor or ED counsellor.

Hmm.  I haven't danced in years and years, and never at any kind of respectable level.  But I just cannot imagine that it is best to be on stage with no energy, no muscle.  Yes, I can see where you could possibly desire to lower your body fat percentage, but losing your muscle and all energy levels cannot be productive to a successful performance.

Do you know the director already?  Can you talk to anyone in the industry to get some personal advice on what they really want, not just an assumption of what they want?

You are very thin already.  And please trust me when I say that eating 300-700 a day is a sure fire way to completely lose whatever muscle you have right now, and not really change your appearance much at all.  Your body will cling to every ounce of fat it can, and shed every ounce of high maintenance muscle that it can.

Please, reevaluate your goals and the manner in which you want to get there.  It's not worth completely throwing away your chance at the stage, which could well happen if you go about weight loss in an unhealthy manner.

Now, for the aspect of asking for quick weight loss help - I'm afraid we cannot counsel you on how to lose so much, so quickly, such that you become so underweight.  It's against the mission of this website:

Calorie Count Plus's mission is to promote healthy and sustainable weight management.

I do wish you the absolute best, my heart goes out to you.

Your body may not get its 1200 calories when youre eating 300-700 calories daily, but it will do what it can breaking down cells from not only fat but muscles and organs.

I understand the need to be lean while dancing but what a contracdiction to have your body go after calories from your muscles for the food your not eating when being fit is so important to dancing.  With wanting to get fit in time, youre actually forcing your body into starvation mode.  Your body will fight you, wanting to be strong but at 300-700 calories your not giving it a fair fight.

Please reconsider getting away from a dangerously low calorie range like that, particularly due to the stress it puts on your heart and allow yourself to lose weight, get lean and fit instead of weak and malnourished.

LOL!

you WON'T lose 17 lbs within a month(and even IF, you would gain it back the next month anyway!), not at your weight, that is just impossible, you might as well just stop thinking about it right now.

People that weight 300lbs or more can basically lose 17 lbs within a month(at an healthy rate without using strange pills or diets that will only work for losing waterweight) but not you, and you shouldn't anyway.
